The book signing, the one thing that brought a smile to Jimin's face these past days. He hadn't seen Jungkook in a full 3 weeks and he didn't know if he would be able to see him again. He was graduating next week, so this book signing was a graduation gift. A genuine smile was on his face as he opened the auditorium doors. He sat down in one of the rows that was a decent distance from the stage but not too close. The school said the author would be introduced, give a speech, then hold the signing. Jimin was so excited because the books were going to be free.

He sat his backpack on the ground in front of him and checked his phone. He had 30 texts from his friend's group chat and 12 texts from Daniel. He wasn't gonna look at those. His friends had ditched him and told him to 'have fun at your gay book signing.' Jimin decided to just scroll through instagram while he waited.

After five minutes Jimin was starting to get bored. He sighed and sat back in his chair and closed his eyes. Jimin felt a familiar presence next to him and it creeped him out he could tell they were staring at him.

"Jimin?" It sounded like Jungkook's voice.

"Yes?" Jimin's eyes were still closed. He thought he was dreaming now. How could Jungkook be here if they didn't go to the same school unless- Jimin opened his eyes and gasped. He turned to his right and rubbed eyes as he saw the person sitting in front of him. It was none other than Jungkook. Jimin knew he missed him but not that much, was he still dreaming. Jimin hit the taller boy who winced in pain.

"You're real?" Jimin stared blankly at Jungkook; he thought he was still dreaming. There was no way this was happening.

"Jimin, do you go here? To my school?" Jungkook asked, he sounded out of breath now for some reason.

"Uh yeah, we- I've never seen you here before. Like ever." Jimin was still in shock. Jungkook went to his school. The main person he hadn't seen because they supposedly didn't go to the same school.

"Me neither... I guess the school is really big but how?" Both of them talked slowly and with confusion. Neither of them could believe it was real.

"I thought I saw you once when people were coming out of my second period class," Jimin remembered.

"Wait, is your second period with Ms. Peterson for physics?" Jungkook asked. He sounded just as confused as Jimin.

"Yes..., we've passed each other everyday!" Jimin was starting to get upset and he didn't know why. Maybe it was because he could've been seeing Jungkook at school this whole time. They would have actually been boyfriends like Jimin wanted.

"Yeah I thought I saw you before too but then I figured it was someone else." Jimin furrowed his eyebrows in anger. Why was the universe so against them? He found himself blaming Jungkook for his dilemma.

"We could've been seeing each other more I- we're so dumb." Jimin sounded defeated. Which he was. What was this bullshit?

"I mean we could've seen each other regardless if you weren't always doing something for your Dad." Jimin raised his eyebrow and suddenly the anger came back to him. It wasn't his fault and everything his dad made Jimin do was out of his control

"What the fuck is that supposed to mean? You know that's out of my control." Jimin pointed a finger in Jungkook's face and his words were red hot with anger. He told Jungkook before he couldn't control anything. He couldn't lie and say it hurt to hear Jungkook say this.

"I mean is it really though. Maybe you could've not been a coward and said no..." Jimin shook his head quickly. Jungkook was the only one he told about his dad and now he was calling him a coward.
