"How many times do I have to say it, Tooru? I'm only going to be gone for a few hours at most. I won't leave."

"I know!... I know. I'm just... scared." Iwaizumi hugged Oikawa in hopes to comfort him just a little bit. After Oikawa's dad, he'd been terrified every time Iwaizumi had to go.

Oikawa Tooru and Iwaizumi Hajime, now 3rd years at Aoba Johsai High School in the Miyagi Prefecture, were closer than your average friends. They had known each other since a couple years before primary school and all the way through to High School. They're mom's had been best friends too, but Hajime and Tooru were definitely closer. They had sleepovers almost every weekend, but only ever at Hajime's house. Tooru's house was pretty toxic. Him and his mother had always been treated like maids by his father and Tooru was constantly abused, mentally and physically.

"I should've pulled out. You don't deserve to be an Oikawa. You deserve nothing." He'd been told that by his own father so many times, it had left permanent marks.

When Tooru and Hajime were in their 2nd year of Primary School, they had a two weeks off of school for Spring Break. It was a super nice day out so Tooru was hanging out with Hajime, per usual.

"Mom, Tooru and I are going to the field!" Hajime yelled to his mom, then they both left to head to the field behind Hajime's house. There was a giant field filled to the brim with 2 feet tall grass and purple and yellow flowers scattered about. There were a couple apple trees within the field that Tooru and Hajime climbed often.

Today wasn't any different. Hajime and Tooru had ran to their special apple tree, the tree with the most crisp of apples you could imagine. The only downside, they were all the way at the top of the tree. Hajime beat Tooru to the tree and started climbing before Tooru had even reached the tree.

"Iwa-Chan, wait for meee!" Yelled Tooru as he finally started up the tree. Hajime was sitting on a split in the middle of the tree, about 5 or 6 feet (152.4 or 182.8 cm) off the ground, when Tooru grabbed onto one of the branches at the feet of Iwaizumi. It snapped. Tooru grabbed as frantically as he could to try and stop the fall to no avail. By the time Hajime realized what was happening, Tooru hit the ground.

"Tooru!!" Called out Hajime. Both boys stopped breathing for a short time. Iwaizumi snapped back to reality and climbed down as fast as possible. He got down on his knees to the left of Oikawa.

"Tooru! Please, wake up! Wake up!!"
