2 months later...

Daisy shot out of bed running straight to the bathroom in her room. She barely made it to the toilet before all the contents from last night's dinner came rushing up her throat out of her mouth, emptying her stomach.

Daisy has thought of many different variations as to why she was feeling so nauseous all the time and felt like throwing up anytime she took a bite out of any type of food.

Because truth be told, Daisy hardly ever threw up. Even as a baby, she hardly ever threw up. But in the past week, she's thrown up at least five times a day and that was only in the morning.

Daisy has thought of every reason as to why she was feeling like this and she wants to believe that it had something to do with all of the terrible cooking Hunter had been doing last week but deep down, she knew. It had nothing to do with Hunter's terrible cooking.  It was the two little words that she refused to believe. I'm pregnant.

Those two little words, I'm pregnant, sent chills down her spine just thinking it.

Daisy was not ready to be a mom.

But, she had to find out for sure. She had make sure.

There was a knock on Daisy's door.

"Daisy?" May's voice rang from outside the door.

Daisy retched and released another compound of bile into the toilet before falling to her butt and resting her head on the wall behind her.

There was another knock. This time louder and more urgent.

"Daisy, are you ok? I'm coming in." May said from the other side of the door.

The door to Daisy's bedroom opened and May walked in finding Daisy slumped down on the floor, pale.

"Daisy." May rushed to the younger girl's side. "What happened?" May asked softly kneeling down and pulling Daisy to her chest.

"Mmmm" Daisy moaned as she felt another compound of bile pushing herself out of her S.O's hold and slumping in front of the toilet again and threw up yet again for the third time that morning.

May involuntarily cringed at the sight of the girl she saw as her daughter puking her guts out. She pulled Daisy's hair back with one hand and rubbed the younger girl's back comfortingly as she released yet another round of bile into the toilet.

  "You okay?" May asked softly after Daisy had finished throwing up.

"Mmm-mmm" Daisy hummed. "I feel like crap." She said hoarsely and slumped her head on her arm she had sprawled on one side of the toilet bowl.

"Daisy, what's wrong?" May asked softly but sternly.

The younger girl shrugged her shoulders "I don't know." Daisy answered. Liar.

Daisy knew full on well what was going on. She's known ever since the whole puking her guts out thing started. She just didn't want to admit to herself because she knows that if she admits it to herself, then it's real. And she doesn't know what she was going to do or how to, if her suspicions were right, be a mother. But she wasn't going to go around the base telling everyone like this was the best thing that had ever happened to her because honestly, it was the worst thing that has ever happened to her. But before she does go telling the people that have become like a family to her, she had to make sure for herself.

"It's probably just food poisoning." Daisy groaned "Hunter cooked." She lied through her teeth, head still slumped on her arm.

May rubbed her back a few more times before standing up.

"Okay, then as your S.O, I order you to take a shower and brush your teeth and come down to the kitchen for a plate of breakfast and a glass of water." May ordered

Daisy just nodded her head.  "Okay" She whispered.

~~~~~~~~~~
Daisy walks down to the kitchen after her shower feeling refreshed in a new pair of black jeans, black tank top with a black leather jacket and combat boots.
She finds May cooking something that smells like chicken noodle soup.
"Wow" Daisy says making her presence known.
May quickly turned around at the sound of her voice and gave Daisy one of her very rare genuine smiles.
"Breakfast." May says putting a bowl filled with the contents on the island table. "Thought you might digest this better than Hunter's chunky pancakes."
"Thanks." Daisy smiled at her S.O and mother figure.
"I also thought we could cancel training for today, give you a chance to catch some fresh air. You've been cooped up in the base the last few days and it looks like you could use it." May said
"Yeah, I really could. Thanks." Daisy said
~~~~~~~~~~

Daisy parks the SUV she borrowed from the base and heads in to the gas station.

She heads to the Feminine Hygiene section of the store making sure no one is looking and goes looking for the pregnancy tests.

 She grabs a box when she finds them, not really caring what brand and walks to the register at the front of the store.

She puts the box on the counter roughly.

The man behind the counter looks at the box and eyes her before taking the box and checking the barcode.

"That'll be $9.16." The man said

Daisy puts a ten dollar bill on the counter and grabs the box before the man can bag it.

"Keep the change" she said walking to the restroom in the store.

Daisy sighed a deep sigh when she was in the bathroom.

She ripped open the box just wanting to get this over with already and tossed it in the trash can next to the toilet.

She ripped open the packaging and pulled the the pregnancy test out. Here it goes.

She unzipped her jeans and pulled them down along with her panties squatting above the toilet not really liking sitting on the toilets of public restrooms. You never know what goes on in the restroom of a gas station or how dirty the toilet really is.

She pulled the cap covering the part you were supposed to urinate on and stuck it between her legs, trying not to make a mess, but trying to get a good amount of urine on the stick at the same time.

Daisy put the cap back on the pregnancy test and put it on the sink. She wiped and pulled her pants back up zipping them before flushing the toilet and  washing her hands.

She looked at herself in the mirror and fixed her hair. She closed her eyes taking a deep breath, letting it out. She opened her eyes and looked down at the stick next to where her hand was.

She felt her stomach turn and stayed silent looking at it for a long minute. The world around her seemed to shake.

Wait, no. It was shaking!

She was shaking the building.

She took a deep breath controlling the shaking to a stop before shoving the stick in her back pocket and walked out of the bathroom and the gas station.
