It was the next day.

Daisy was sitting in her room on her bed with her laptop open in front of her and pregnancy test in hand.

Two lines.

Positive.

To say that this was a normal thing for her and that she was calm and excited to have the opportunity to grow a human inside her, to give it life was so far from the truth.

The truth was, was she was scared. Scared to be a mom considering she never had one growing up. Daisy isn't the type of person who would abort a child she was responsible of creating. She was scared she was going to have to raise it alone though.

Lincoln should be here.

Daisy knew Lincoln was partly responsible of the creation of the fetus inside her.

Lincoln was the last man Daisy had been intimate with. Two months ago, they blew off some steam, it takes about a month for the sperm to come in contact with the egg leaving Daisy around three to four weeks along, and symptoms usually don't show until then so the timing was almost too perfect.

And Lincoln being the father of her child only made things more complicated which made her even more scared. They were both Inhumans, so Daisy had no idea at all what she was supposed to expect.

All Daisy knew was, it was going to be a long pregnancy. And she had to tell someone, and find Lincoln.

A knock on the door broke Daisy out of her train of thoughts. She quickly shoved the pregnancy test that she had in her hands under her pillow. Little did she know, the person on the other side saw this action.

She cleared her throat "Come in."

The door to Daisy's bedroom opened revealing Bobbi holding a tray with two tea cups, and a tea pot.

"Hey." Bobbi said from the door with a smile on her face.

"Hey." Daisy said softly, giving her friend a soft smile.

"So, May told us you were sick... I thought I would bring you some tea in hopes to make you feel a little better." Bobbi said as she walked over to set the tray in between the two of them on Daisy's bed. "May I?" Bobbi asked motioning to a chair by Daisy's bed.

"Yeah, of course!" Daisy said

"Thanks." Bobbi pulled the chair to the edge of Daisy's bed on the other side of the tea tray sitting on Daisy's bed.

Bobbi started pouring tea into the tea cups and handed one to Daisy.

"I tried to make the tea like Simmons used to make them. It felt like her special herbal tea was something she would have brought you if she were here right now so, I apologize in advanced if it tastes terrible." Bobbi said as she took a sip of the tea after she saw Daisy take a sip herself. She cringed at the taste "Definitely doesn't taste like Simmons' tea." Bobbi said as she put the cup back on the tray.

Daisy took another sip and shrugged, smiling "Tastes almost like Simmons', not bad though." She too put her cup back on the tray, her expression suddenly serious. Daisy looked Bobbi in the eyes and grabbed her hand. "We're gonna get Simmons back no matter what. You know that right?" Daisy asked her friend softly.

"Yeah" Bobbi whispered "What about you?" Bobbi suddenly asked and Daisy stiffened and her muscles tensed.

"W-What ab-about me?" Daisy stuttered out.

Bobbi squinted her eyes at the other girl.

"What are you hiding Daisy?" Bobbi asked suddenly worried about whether or not, not wanting to jump to conclusions.

"N-nothing" Daisy stuttered, chuckling nervously.

"Then what's that you're hiding under your pillow?" Bobbi asked discreetly reaching for a pocket knife in her cast.

"I-I'm not hid-hiding anything." Daisy swallowed a lump in her throat.

"Daisy?" Bobbi said sternly "Do I need to be worried?"

"No, it's not what you think..." Daisy sighed defeatedly. She decided she was just going to tell her friend. Daisy took a shaky breath in as a tear escaped her eye. "I'm p- I'm pregnant" Daisy pulled the stick from under the pillow giving it to her friend.

Bobbi felt relieved that this wasn't something about like Daisy being a secret spy working for Hydra or something. She stopped reaching for the pocket knife.

Bobbi got up from her chair and sat next to the soon-to-be-mother giving her a side hug being careful to not knock over the tray of tea.

"Who's the father?" Bobbi asked softly "And don't tell me that it's Ward because if it is, then I don't ant to know." Bobbi said as an attempt to lighten the mood knowing Daisy was probably scared out of her mind about this whole thing.

Bobbi knew it worked when she heard the girl she saw as a sister let out a chuckle but frowned when she didn't say anything.

"Wait, it's not actually Ward, is it?" Bobbi asked stiffening but sighed with relief when she felt Daisy shake her head on her shoulder.

"No. Not Ward. Lincoln" Daisy said softly in to the dirty blonde's shoulder.

"Wow." Bobbi whispered

"Yeah." Daisy said also in a whisper.

That day, Bobbi spent most of the day in Daisy's room trying to help her take her mind off her current situation.

"Just so you know, you're not going to be alone. Okay?" Bobbi said after a good while of nothing but silence.

"I know, thanks." Daisy replied

"You know, I might not be Simmons, but I think it's a good idea for you to get an ultrasound." Bobbi said

"I know, I just don't want everyone to be worrying about me. They all have enough to worry about as it is." Daisy replied

"Tell them." Bobbi more suggested than demanded "They need to know so they-- so we can take care of you."

Daisy doesn't say anything to that, she just sighs.
