When Elizabeth woke up, it wasn't to the sound of Kellen screaming in her face like she thought it would be. She heard the subtle sound of metal being dragged against the ground, and on instinct, she sat up and looked out the window.

There, her friend was motionless as he was being put in the back of a pickup truck, belonging to an old man.

"Shit..." she muttered.

There was a snap, and the sound of footsteps came her way. She didn't move, kept a happy smile on her face, as to maybe trick whoever was around into thinking she wasn't currently active.

Her facade quickly faded when she realized who had been coming her way.

Standing before her, was a tall man, with brown hair and a shaggy beard. His hair was grey at the tips, and he had gained a few wrinkles from here and there, but other than that he looked exactly how he used to when Elizabeth was a child.

"Henry..." she said, although you could barely hear her.

Henry let out a long sigh, and ran a hand through his hair.

"Elizabeth what are you doing here?" He asked. His tone was thoughtful, but stern. The girl in question shrugged, expecting cracks in her bones, but was met with robotic movements instead. She almost forgot she wasn't in her normal body. Before Elizabeth could answer the question, Henry spoke again. "I don't know why I'm surprised, if he's back you would be to..." Elizabeth blinked. He knew.

"I can't just leave him-"

"You can move on Elizabeth!" Henry shouted, clearly wanting to drill the statement into her head. Make her realize she didn't need her father, that she could be her own person. "You can go back, be happy, let him rot down here, it doesn't matter!"

"It's not that simple Henry-!"

"Yes it is!" He snapped back. Elizabeth furrowed her brows and shifted to face away from him, before Henry grabbed her arm, and sighed again. "Look," he started. "I know it's hard but..." before Elizabeth could react, Henry flipped the switch on her back and she shut down. "You need to move on..."

Elizabeth woke up again, in an unfamiliar place. She appeared to be in someone's bedroom, but she didn't know where. There were posters on the walls of new, glimmering animatronics, a bed with blue sheets on it, and a desk.

The wallpaper was blue as well, and the floor had a nice soft carpet.

Elizabeth inspected herself, expecting to have been torn and scrapped for parts, probably the same way her friend had been by the old man.

Surprisingly, she was in perfect condition. It appeared that whoever had taken her into their home, had taken a lot of time to make sure she was perfect.

Elizabeth got up and looked at the person's desk.

There were some bills, letters from friends—those might be useful later. But other than that nothing too interesting. She then turned to the closet, which was filled with security guard uniforms. One of them had a badge on it.

Vanessa

In the distance, footsteps appeared to be coming closer.

Elizabeth shut the closet, stepped in the center of the room, and put on a big smile for whoever had shown her such kindness.
