Coffee And Bullets | Yoonmin

Yoongi sat in his office restlessly. Were his eyes playing tricks on him? He was frustrated with the feeling that he missed his chance to find this group creating havoc in the city.

Today he wanted to be there a little early, Minjae was out with some other work so decided to go there alone. He reached the cafe, it was not late as yesterday, there was one table occupied, he walks towards the table near the window and sits down.

"Welcome, sir let me know when you want to order," Jimin says passing the menu to Yoongi. He didn't pay much attention to whom he is serving, many people visit the cafe every day. He walked back to the counter where a customer was waiting to pay his bill.

Yoongi saw the boy, he didn't recognize me he thought. Was he expecting him to notice?

"One cup of coffee please,"

The people at the other table left the cafe, it was just him alone. He could see the pink-haired boy walking towards him with a cup of coffee. Jimin placed the cup on the table and looked up. Mint-hair? 

"Weren't you here yesterday?" Jimin asked him.

He remembers, a small smile almost formed on Yoongi's thin lips.

"Y...Yes"

"Well, enjoy your coffee," he said flashing his beautiful smile at him before walking away.

That smile made Yoongi soft. He sat there observing the place outside the window and slowly stealing glances at the handsome man behind the counter.

He sat there for about an hour before he decides to leave. He was a little disappointed and was questioning the information he got. He walks out of the cafe leaving the money on the table.

The next day passed on quickly, "Sunbae, are we going again today?" Minjae asks.

"I am not sure Minjae, I am starting to doubt the info we got, but again it is too soon to judge. I'll keep at it for a couple more days, maybe we can try approaching from a different angle"

Minjae nods and follows him as they drive to the same place again. Yoongi as usual walked inside the cafe taking his seat beside the window. He was too preoccupied to notice the boy who stood in front of him.

"As usual, a cup of coffee?" Jimin asks snapping Yoongi out of his thoughts. He nods saying yes.

Today there is no one in the cafe except for him, he looks at his watch it is pretty late. Jimin walks over with the order and places it in front of him.

"Thanks"

"I'm glad you like the coffee, you are coming here every day for it" Jimin drags the chair opposite to Yoongi, "Do you mind if I sit here?"

Yoongi nods as Jimin sits across him, "I am Jimin Park"

"Min Yoongi"

"Would you like to eat something"

"mmm..." he was about to say no but Jimin beat him to it, he got up and walked towards the kitchen coming out with a piece of cake on the plate.

"Here try this," he says sitting with him.

"I don't have a sweet tooth," Yoongi says looking at him hesitantly

"I guessed !!!" Jimin said proudly, "it's cheesecake, not too sweet"

Yoongi took a bite of the cake, it suited his pallette. He nodded contently as he goes in for another bite. Jimin looks at him smiling.

"I should go now," Yoongi says standing up, "How much should I pay?"

"Oh! It's on the house" Yoongi thanked him and left the place as Jimin cleaned up the things to close the cafe.

The next day Jimin opened the cafe, as usual, he got a text from Taehyung saying he's invited the boy he met at the gallery over to his cafe. Jimin was eager to meet this guy, apparently, Taehyung and him were texting for a couple of days now and all he talks about is him.

Taehyung entered the cafe wearing a white shirt and a hat looking all artistry following him is a black-haired boy with a denim jacket, he's a little taller than Tae with big doe eyes.

They both come to me directly behind the counter,

"Hey Chimmi, this is Jeon Jungkook, I met him at the gallery and Kook, this is my best friend in the whole world, Jimin"

"Hi Jungkook"

"Hi Jimin, nice to meet you, Tae talks about you a lot," he says smiling at me. He's got this adorable bunny smile.

Jimin lead them to a table, "You guys sit here and let me get you something" 

"I'll come with you" Tae follows Jimin, leaving Jungkook at the table.

"So how's he" Tae dragged me to the corner of the Kitchen where Jungkook couldn't see us

"He's cute, you know with big eyes, looks like a cute bunny," Jimin said peeking at the boy sitting there unaware of the conversation going on between the two best friends.

"Don't you dare throw your charms at him Chimmie, I'll kill you" 

"Possessive much, you just met him like a few days back, and moreover, I am not interested in him. I am more into people who are fierce as a wild cat"

"...like a cat?" Jimin laughed at Tae's confused expression, "well get yourself a wild cat to tame and leave the bunny to me"

They are back to the table with two cups of iced coffee and some sweet treats. 

"So Jungkook how did you meet Tae?" Jimin asked joining them.

"My brother wanted to purchase one of his paintings so I visited the gallery and that's where I met him" Jungkook explained all this time having his eyes on Tae literally.

"Kook is a singer, you should listen to him sing Chimmie, he sounds so angelic," Tae says looking at Jungkook who is blushing.

"OK !!! I'll leave you two at that" Jimin leaves them alone walking towards the counter, bunny fell into the hands of a tiger, he thought looking at them fondly.

They left the cafe hand in hand waving me good bye after sometime. It is pretty late in the evening, Jimin unconcisously looked towards the door as if he's waiting for someone to come.

 What am I doing he thought, as he's preparing to close the cafe, he heard the windchimes indicating someone entered.
