"DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR"

Jimin froze. He slowly peeked out from the window to see a dark figure standing outside.

"Jimin listen to me carefully, Jimin are you there"

"H...Hyung" he whispered.

"You go inside your bedroom lock the door. Stay there, I am on my way, I have alerted nearby police."

Jimin ran into his bedroom without making any sounds and closed the door behind him.

"Don't hang up the call, anything happens you tell me"

Yoongi literally ran towards his car, leaving everything behind. "Sunbae...." Minjae tried to ask what was going on. He didn't stop nor bother, his focus was on Jimin, he wanted to reach there as soon as possible. He drove at an insane speed. He made sure to put the cop siren alerting the possible intruder.

His instincts were to save the boy from possible danger first rather than catching the prowler.

Yoongi reached the home and at the same time, a police officer arrived on his bike only to find an empty porch. Yoongi asked the officer to check the surroundings,

"Jimin I am here, open the door" Yoongi was still on call with Jimin.

After few seconds, the door opens revealing Jimin standing in front of him. Yoongi hugged him wrapping his hands tightly around his waist. Jimin clutched Yoongi.

"Sir, there is no one suspicious around" Officer's voice interrupted them.

Yoongi pulled back from the hug and held Jimin's hand as he spoke to him. The officer left the place leaving Jimin and Yoongi alone.

"I don't think it's safe here Jimin, for a few days you need to live someplace else"

Jimin thought about Taehyung but he was leaving to New York, and his parents are in the states,

"I can go to my parents, they are in the states"

"You are a witness for a murder Jimin, you cannot leave the country till the trial completes"

Jimin had a very limited circle, now that Taehyung is leaving, he couldn't think of anyone. Moreover, after an incident like today, what if those people track down me and someone else gets hurt. A lot was going on in his head.

"You can stay with me if it's okay"

"But Hyung, I don't want you to get into trouble because of me."

"Let me worry about those things, grab what you need for a couple of days"

Yoongi was positive about taking Jimin home. He has a very quiet life and honestly, none of the people he works with also, have any idea about his personal life. He thought Jimin would be safe there.

They both drive to Yoongi's apartment. It was a very cozy place. Jimin thought the place will be a little dark but contrary to his expectations the place is very warm and classy with a small yet functional kitchen, a cute dining table for two. The living room has a soft couch facing the television, there is a piano in one corner of the room. However, there is only one big master bedroom. Yoongi carries Jimin's bags to the bedroom as the younger follows him.

"You take the bedroom, I'll manage on the couch" Yoongi left the room to Jimin and walks out.

Jimin slips into more comfortable clothes and walks out to the living room,

"Hyung, it's your house, I can sleep on the couch. You go back to your room" he says sitting beside the elder.

"It's late Jimin, we'll figure it out later, for today you sleep there."

It was indeed a tiring day for both of them. Jimin didn't argue back, he nodded and went to the room as Yoongi proceeded to sleep on the couch.

The next morning, a delicious smell of pancakes woke Yoongi up. He opened his eyes to see Jimin making breakfast. He walked into the kitchen, Jimin didn't seem to notice Yoongi coming into the kitchen.

Jimin was too engrossed in flipping the pancakes, he didn't realize Yoongi was leaning in over his shoulder. He stumbles as he turns to come face to face to the older. There are barely inches left between their lips,

"Smells delicious," Yoongi says not pulling back

"Tastes delicious too" Jimin smiled as he pushed Yoongi away, "Now get ready and come out for breakfast before they become cold"

Yoongi liked the fact that someone is cooking for him, he loved it even more because it was Jimin.

They both had their breakfast and Yoongi left Jimin at home going to the precinct. Jimin had nothing to do, he decided he would close the cafe for few days. He couldn't observe the place properly at night but he could see the Yoongi had a monotonous tone set to his apartment, all the things are either black, white, or grey. Jimin in his blue fluffy cardigan with his pink hair is the only color popping in his place.

He sat there on the couch to watch some TV to kill time, his phone rang,

"Mrs.Kim !!! Hi"

"Jimin-ah, how are you"

"I'm good Mrs.Kim, Hope you are doing well"

"I was worried, you didn't open the cafe for two days"

"I had some personal work, Mrs.Kim, I won't be able to open the cafe for few days" Jimin missed seeing sweet Mrs.Kim and her warm smile.

"I'll come to see you as soon as you open the cafe"

"Sure Mrs.Kim"

"Take care my sweet Jimin-ah", He felt a little better talking to the sweet old lady.

The rest of the day went at its own pace, it was evening and Jimin wanted to cook something for the older. He was grateful that Yoongi offered him to stay and he wanted to repay his kindness. He prepared a tasty meal and waited for him to come home.

Jimin was on the couch when Yoongi opened the door and came inside his house, he got up and ran towards the older to greet him.

"Hi Hyung, how was your day", Jimin was alone the whole day, the older's presence made him feel comfortable.

Yoongi is greeted with a wide smile from the younger, "It's nice", he said.

"I prepared dinner for us" Jimin pointed out to the dishes set on the dining table.

Yoongi was overwhelmed with emotions. He has been alone for so long that these small gestures by Jimin are tipping him off. There were never those days in his life where someone cared about how his day was going or someone was at home waiting for him or even so cooked a meal to share. He felt a wave of affection towards Jimin.

He didn't express this feeling out, instead, he hugged Jimin never wanting this feeling to go.
