I still mistakenly think of Rin as a girl until now. I know he's a boy but when I think of him he looks and feel like a girl to me. I'm really careful not to put "her" instead of "him".
"Do you think she's dangerous?"
"She's cute though."
"Stupid Ururu! Being cute doesn't mean she pose no threat!" Jinta slapped Ururu's head with his hand, the girl covering her head.
A girl is lying unconscious on the floor of the Urahara Store, they covered her with blankets to warm her up from the rain she was previously in. Her hollow mask that is shaped like a helmet though makes them wonder if it makes sleeping or simply lying down uncomfortable. They even considered laying her down on her stomach.
"Yes, you shouldn't judge a book by its cover." Urahara's voice spoke out from behind the paper doors before it opened revealing the man itself. "Jinta stop hurting Ururu." the blonde in green turned to the boy, before turning to face both of them. "Though, It's the same case as both you, isn't it?"
"He's right." Jinta crossed his arms, smiling that he was complimented to be strong. Though he may not be able to defeat a captain-level Quincy or Arrancar or Shinigami, he would pose a threat to a non-suspecting individual nonetheless. But still, they don't know anything about the unconscious girl.
"Is she though? How dangerous could she be?" Jinta asked, looking at the girl. Aside from the hollow's mask indicating she's an arrancar, they don't know anything about her, strength, abilities and all. They should know how they could defend themselves if the arrancar goes ballistic when she awakens.
"Oh? Her? Nothing much." Urahara began, looking down on the unconscious girl in caution. The two sighed in relief. "Just the Espada #1" The two children residents of Urahara shop widened their eyes. "One half of it, at least."
"WHat the fuck?! E-espada?!" Jinta exclaimed jumping away from the unconscious girl, Ururu still sitting kneeled next to her but still as surprised. They figured she must be quite strong but didn't expect for her to be that strong. "And the freaking 1st?! A kid is that strong?!"
"Well technically since they're hollows they're pretty old, and we don't know how their aging system works." Urahara began, then turned serious. "As I've said though, she's the half of it."
"Half?" Ururu tilted her head.
"What do you mean?" Jinta asked, clearly the two are confused."According to Kyoraku-taichou, errr, Soutaichou and Ukitake-taichou, to keep it short, the other half is the stronger one when they are separate and definitely deserve to be an Espada but she is the power when they are fused."
"So without the other one, she's practically weak?" Jinta asked relieved that she is not Espada-level strong.
Urahara opened his fan and covered his mouth. "I'm not suggesting you to underestimate her, though I'm skeptical whether you two can defeat her, even if together." This statement made the children looked at the arrancar girl in worry probably in fear as well. Urahara noticed this notion of judging the girl for being an arrancar and walks up to the children putting one hand on their heads each. "Well, we should stop talking about power levels. But in case if something happens and she'll stay here please be friends with her."
"Wha?!" Jinta did not believe it, they would take her in? "Stay here? The shinigami and everybody else treat this place as a hotel, don't they?! Now arrancar too?"
"It's lively here when there are guests." Ururu meekly said
"No, it's annoying!"
"I very much agree with you Ururu!" Urahara agreed practically ignoring Jinta's statement
