Chapter 5- Final

"Mind if I take a seat?"

The peppy blond before you just causes you to scoff. 

"Do you care if I say no?"

"Nope." She drops in the seat, and you just sigh deeply. Jitters was one of the few places you can have a bit of peace. With Eobard's blatant flirting and apparent dedication to get you to sleep with him, you were actually losing sleep. 

You. 

A powerful being of time. 

"How's babysitting going, anything interesting happened." She looks unnaturally happy. Like she knows something you don't. You just shrug it off. She's mischievous, but there's no way she's that good of a schemer.

"Aadya, what are the precautions for intimacy with a charge."

She perks up. "Have you finally done it with him!!" Her yell has drawn so much attention. Aadya lowers in the seat, you can hear the soft giggles from behind. Besides the obvious embarrassment you feel, your eyes stay glued to her.

"What do you mean finally?"

"Did I say finally, I meant probably. Cause I know how much you adore that human. "

"Aadya!"

She just continues to smile. 

"(Y/N), I have a job, the same as you. While you're out keeping timelines clean, I control different duties. You know the rules."

"The rules? What rules could involve me and a speedster." 

She taps her lips with a grin, and before you're able to get anymore information, she's gone with a snap. You just stare blankly at her seat. She couldn't have been suggesting what you thought she was.

That's impossible.

Or was it?

"Eobard." His head lifts from watching the television.

"Something the matter?" His focus is now completely on you.

You're looking to see for any indication that would make sense of what Aadya has told you. The only rules she could have been protecting is the one which deals with maintaining future events. 

Aadya's gift is literally seeing future events and arranging the circumstances to ensure they happen the way they are supposed to. The coincidences that many took for granted were anything but. In a way she was there to set up meetings, the rest was up to her charges. Have you become one of them?

Eobard stands because you've called his name but have yet to tell him the reason. You're just looking at him. He stands, taking a hold of your shoulders. That knocks you back to reality.

"Is there something wrong?"

 Another little detail you've noticed is how much Eobard's personality has changed since being with you. He looks like he's worried. Which makes even less sense because you were invincible. 

"Nothing's wrong.." 

You can't stop your eyes from drifting to his lips. Eobard notices. 

"Are you alright?" He whispers, clearly distracted. He'd spend so long chasing you that now for the first time when he isn't the one making an advance, it throws him off a little. No answer, you just lean forward giving him a quick peck. Eobard doesn't have a chance to react, and you just stand there looking down bashfully at your feet.

"Was that your attempt at a kiss?"

Your nose flares. "S-Shut up okay I already know it wasn't any go-" Eobard takes your face gently in his hands and plants the most mind blowing kiss on your lips. You would think he'd hold back a little since this is your very first, but his tongue slips in instantly, and he kisses you like you're never gonna see each other again.
