When Perth entered his room, it was the same way he left it. It gave the same cold vibe it always had. Even though Perth practically lived in that room, no sign of life could be felt there.

Had Perth made a major mistake by turning back? He didn't know. Would Saint bail out of the deal they had made? Probably. If Saint didn't keep his word then it would be another heart break on Perth's side, even though it wasn't like Perth wasn't used to it. Maybe it would have been better for the deal to be in paper, signed by both parties.

The ride home had been quiet, like all of their rides matter-of-factly. Saint hadn't bothered to say another word or even look at him, for all the half an hour journey home.

Perth felt proud of himself for standing his ground to Saint. It was a minor accomplishment, but it was one besides everything. Perth hadn't ask Saint to stop having lovers, it would be foolish of him to think that the boy would do as his husband said. The humiliation that Perth had felt when that women walked past him as if Perth was nothing, had been unbearable, the cause of the events that followed that situation.

After settling everything in their rightful place, he got on his bed hoping he would fall asleep soon.

A couple of days had passed and the situation was the same it had been before Perth had left to be back again. Except, Saint hadn't brought anyone home yet, so it meant he was keeping his word.

Perth was drinking a cup of coffee in his room, watching 'Riverdale', when he heard his phone buzz. Plan.

Plan: do you have any plans tomorrow night?

Perth furrowed his brows in confusion. What could possibly Plan want? Eh if Plan only knew that 'nothing' was what enveloped Perth's days.

Perth: no... why?

As he waited for a response, he paused the episode not wanting to miss anything.

Plan: I was thinking about a double date...

Fuck. Perth wished he had said yes that he was busy planning on caving a hole so he could bury himself when situations like this came his way.

Perth: I don't know. maybe some other time.

Hoping it would work as an excuse, he waited restlessly on his bed, biting his nails.

Plan: oh common. we've got to do this Perth. don't you understand how lucky we are that our partners are best friends? I mean what are the odds.

'Yeah, the percentage for this is low, but of course we are talking about me, so it's bound to happen', Perth thought. He couldn't say no, Plan would think something was wrong between him and Saint. Or worse, he would think Perth didn't approve about him and Mean, which in a kind of way Perth didn't.

Perth didn't even want to think about how he would talk about this to Saint. He didn't want to promise something to his best friend so he could break that promise later.

Perth: okay. Let me talk about it with Saint, see if he's free.

Plan: oh shush, with that booty of yours, you can make him do what you want.

Perth rolled his eyes and then snorted. He wanted to scream to Plan, that no one has ever been near that area, nor will ever be, but as always he couldn't. He couldn't tell Plan that, even though Perth had a husband, he has never had sex nor has he had a date in his marriage.

Perth: yeah yeah. I'll tell you later if we can go out tomorrow or not.

He set the phone down and pressed play to the episode and continued watching his favourite show at the moment.
