CHAPTER TWO
This is Confusing

I felt really uncomfortable so I opened my eyes slowly and I realized I was no longer home. Instead, I found myself lying down in some sort of warehouse with my hands and feet tied really tightly. It was dark so I couldn't see clearly but then I thought maybe this was all a dream. After all, I've been having some weird ones lately so I closed my eyes in the hopes of waking up but when I opened my eyes again I was still in the same place.

Where am I? I started feeling worried and anxious so I decided to trace back my steps and I remembered I fell asleep on the couch so how could I have ended up here. I made sure I locked the door so how did this happen.

"He's awake." I heard a voice and moved my head around trying to find where it came from.

I could hear footsteps coming towards me. "Good, now get him a glass of water. I'm sure he's thirsty." You bet I am thirsty but can they untie me first, it's really uncomfortable. While I continued to complain I could see a figure of a woman coming closer and closer to me until she was sitting in front of me. "How was your nap? Got any weird dreams?"

Weird dreams? Wait, how does she know about my dreams? No, it can't be she's probably just trying to make conversation but should I lie and say yes or should I just be honest. Oh, I don't really know what to do in a situation like this.

"I see. You refuse to cooperate." She stood up and turned her back behind me. I guess I thought too much about what to say next that she assumed I didn't want to answer her. "Very well then, I have other methods." She turned back to face me but this time she had a different look in her eyes, they were as red as a blood moon.

I couldn't help but panic so I opened my mouth and hoped the right words would come out. "Y--you must have the wrong guy. I---I don't know you." She stopped for a second. I have no idea if I should have just kept my mouth shut but I had to at least give it a try.

She leaned down towards me and placed her hands on my throat. Her grip got tighter and tighter so that I couldn't breathe. My vision started getting hazy and I was gasping for each breath that I could take in. Am I gonna die? Is this it? But then all of a sudden her hands got loose and she started caressing my cheek.

"Well... perhaps you are right. If you were that person then you would have stopped me." That person? But who could that be and how would they have stopped her. All these questions started racing in my mind but I had one priority and it was to get out of here before she chokes me for good. "So... you're free to go."

Just like that the rope tying my hands and feet loosened until I was free. I looked around and I saw a door behind her but it must be at least 10 feet away. Should I make a run for it? I didn't give it much thought so I followed my instincts and ran. I made it to the door alive but when I tried to twist the knob it was locked. She was just playing with me.

"But then again, you've already seen my face and I can't risk it." She was walking towards me and I was at a dead end. I did not know what to do, there was nothing I could do.
