Chapter VII

‘I love him papa. I love taetae so much.’ Jungkook confessed.

‘When we broke up I thought it was because he was there for me and I grew depend on him that’s why it was painful and as time passed by I will be okay. But I was just fooling myself, I then knew I’m doomed, my love for Taehyung is sincere.’ Jungkook said. He was suffocating not being able to talk with someone and he feel grateful that his papa was willing to listen to him, he missed this warmth.

‘Don’t worry koo, things like this takes time. You feel a bit better now right since you talked your heart out.’ Jin asked looking down at Jungkook and Jungkook nodded his head.

They heard a knock and in came Namjoon. ‘Oh.. it seems like papa and son is having some bonding time. How come you guys didn’t invite me?’ Namjoon asked trying to act sad.

‘Oh.. Joonie come and sit here. You’re busy with work. Jungkook was whining how he couldn’t spend time with you. Should I leave you two alone?’ Jin asked.

‘Now it’s time for appa and son bonding.’ Jin said and Jungkook sit up so Jin could stand up. Jin pecked Namjoon’s cheek and went out. Namjoon went and sat on the edge of the bed and Jungkook immediately laid his head on his appa’s lap.

‘Was it difficult for you koo?’ Namjoon asked.

‘When I found out I was kidnapped it was the most difficult for me. Before that I used to be their stress reliever. They would beat me up and lock me up without feeding me. I didn’t tell any of this for papa because he will be sad.’ Jungkook said.

‘I’m sorry I couldn’t protect you my bunny.’ Namjoon said tears welling up in his eyes.

‘Appa it’s not your fault. No one knew this could happen. Its our fate appa. Please don’t cry. You had it the hardest you know. Having to hide all your worries and be strong for the family in the most critical time. Jackie samchon told me everything.’ Jungkook said. Now he sat up
‘You know appa, don’t hide your pain. You can cry. Let all your years of pain and worries out.’ Jungkook said.

‘My bunny when did you grow up so much.’ Namjoon said caressing Jungkook’s cheeks.

‘Appa I vaguely remember you used to take me to walks to han river at night. Should we go for a walk.’ Jungkook asked standing up and Namjoon smiled.

‘Sure lets go.’ Namjoon ruffled Jungkook’s hair and both went downstairs.

‘Oh… is the bonding time over?’ Jin asked.

‘No papa, me and appa is going for a walk to the han river.’ Jungkook said.

‘oh.. really have fun then..’ Jin said.

‘oh… papa I think Soobin might not come home today.’ Jungkook said.

‘Really… he’s been spending out a lot these days.’ Jin wondered.

‘He must be with his boyfriend. I met Soobin and his boyfriend when me and Jiminie hyung went for dinner. Soobin said its their 1 year anniversary.’ Jungkook said.

‘Oh… that brat has a boyfriend and he didn’t have a courtesy to tell us.’ Jin gritted his teeth.

‘Papa don’t be angry. He’s not a small boy.’ Jungkook comfort Jin.

‘Ok.. you two go for your walk. I will call Soobin.’ Jin said.

‘Honey don’t be harsh on binie.’ Namjoon said and Jungkook and Namjoon went out.

‘I used to carry you on my back. Now I can’t believe I’m having a drink with you in the han river.’ Namjoon chuckled. He really wanted to cry since he never got a chance to see Jungkook growing infront of them.

Jungkook felt his appa’s emotion and placed his hand on Namjoon’s hand.

‘Appa … don’t think about the past… let’s spend more time together from now on. Let’s make up to the time we couldn’t spend. And also stop blaming yourself. Please.’ Jungkook pleaded with his doe eyes and how can Namjoon not give in.

‘Let’s do a cheers shall we?’ Jungkook asked and they did a cheers and spend the chilly night with talks and laugh and Namjoon felt contented after a long time.

Taehyung came home after the dinner date. Before he could step into the house he heard his parents talking.

‘Honey do you really have to pressure Taehyung to a marriage he doesn’t like. He’s the one who is getting married and its his life. I could tell Taehyung is putting up with this because of you. Also that Jungkook kid is better than Sophia.’ Taehyung’s mother said.

‘I also like Jungkook. He is a good kid but marrying Jungkook and Taehyung won’t bring benefits for the company.’ Taehyung’s dad said.

‘Does your company matters to you more than our son’s happiness?’ Taehyung’s mom asked.

‘Honey… please… you know how hard dad worked for the company. He put his life to the company.’ Taehyung’s dad said.

‘But I don’t want to see Taehyung sad dear.’ Taehyung’s mom said defeated.

‘Anyway Mr.Kim Seokjin called and told me that they will visit us tomorrow.’ Taehyung’s mom said.

Taehyung took this chance and went inside interrupting his parent’s conversation.

‘Oh tae welcome.’ His mom greeted.

‘Mom… dad to be honest… there is something you need to know about Jungkook.’ Taehyung said his heart beating wildly.

‘What is it son?’ his dad asked.

‘Actually I only found it recently… I overheard a conversation…’ Taehyung said hesitating..

‘Tell us without hesitating.’ His mom said.

‘Actually Jungkook is Mr.Kim Namjoon and Seokjin’s elder son.’ Taehyung said.

‘WHAT?’  both his mom and dad shouted and Yoongi too who was behind Taehyung.
