Chapter XIII

‘Oh you two came together.’ Jin said while watching some drama with Namjoon working on the laptop beside him.

‘Yes papa, I met hyung in a restaurant where I go to eat with my friends frequently.’ Soobin said going to hug Jin.

‘Really that’s nice.’ Jin said pecking Soobin’s hair.

‘And Taehyung hyung bought dinner for us and even dropped me and hyung home since hyung didn’t have his car.’ Soobin said which made Jin and Namjoon to look at Jungkook.

Jungkook cleared his throat and went to sit beside Namjoon. ‘Appa you should at least rest at home instead of working.’ Jungkook said trying to avoid the subject earlier, but Jin won’t easily give up.

‘So did you and Taehyung made up?’ Jin asked hopefully.

‘I told him to earn my forgiveness after all no matter what I was hurt, so he has to earn my feelings back.’ Jungkook said hugging Namjoon who smiled at his elder son’s cuteness.

‘Are you acting stubborn now?’ Jin asked.

‘Papa am I not allowed to? I had a difficult time because of the break up. It was unbearable.’ Jungkook said. ‘I don’t want to remember the past. I’m done with this pain.’ Junkook’s voice crack and Namjoon hugged Jungkook tightly.

‘Don’t worry kookie hereafter I will not allow you to be in pain. I will protect you.’ Namjoon said.

‘Appa, papa and Soobin… saranghae..’ Jungkook said.

‘We love you too kookie..’ Namjoon said.

Soobin stood up and went to hug Jungkook. ‘saranghae hyung…’ Soobin said.

Four of them hugged tightly and cried silently letting their tears flow freely for once and it will be the last time they will cry like this. For Namjoon, Jin, Jungkook and Soobin this is the most beautiful night.

‘What did you talk with Jungkook?’ Yoongi asked coming to his brother’s room.

‘Hmm… he said I have to earn his forgiveness.’ Taehyung said.

‘Well he is right if it was me I would have broke you first and then forgive you. He is being soft on you.’ Yoongi said.

‘Hyung… I won’t allow you to meet Jungkook personally. Who knows what kind of things you will teach him.’ Taehyung said glaring at Yoongi and he just shrugged his shoulders.

‘Can you accompany me somewhere tomorrow?’ Yoongi asked.

‘Where?’ Taehyung asked looking up from his book.

‘To the amusement park. I have a mission. I have to spy on someone while I act like I’m enjoying. So accompany me.’ Yoongi said.

‘I was wondering why you blessed my room with your visit. You just want me to help you in your mission. Pay me hourly wage.’ Taehyung said smiling devilishly.

‘You brat…’ Yoongi snarled.

‘Hyung I’ll help you. Pay me hourly wage.’ Taehyung said.

‘Fine how much?’ Yoongi sighed defeated.

‘$50 for an hour.’ Taehyung said smiling innocently and Yoongi was about to snap but his mission is more important now, so he nodded his head.

‘Maybe I should also become a secret agent instead of a doctor. But now I choose becoming a doctor because I can work with my kookie. I will be with him 24/7 soon.’ Taehyung dreamily and Yoongi went out not wanting to deal with his brother’s weirdness.

‘Oh… I’m so happy…’ Soobin said hugging Jin while Jin was busy preparing breakfast for his family.

‘Why are you so happy?’ Jin asked.

‘Because I will be able to spend the whole day with kookie hyung. Just me and him. I will do everything with him which I wanted to do when I was young.’ Soobin said.

‘Alright… alright enjoy your day with your hyung.’ Jin said. And they heard a crash. ‘Joonie what did you break this time..’ Jin shouted.

They heard Jungkook laughing loudly. ‘Appa you broke papa’s favourite vase.’ Jungkook said.

‘Kookie can’t you help me fix it?’ Namjoon asked and Jungkook shook his head. They heard footsteps reaching and Jin came who widened his eyes when he saw what was broken.

‘Joonie…’ Jin screamed. ‘You broke my favourite vase. What did you do for this to be broken.’ Jin said furious.

‘My bag accidentally hit and knocked off the vase dear.’ Namjoon said ‘I will buy you the exact same vase I promise. Don’t be angry baby.’ Namjoon pleaded.

‘You’re sleeping in the couch for a month.’ Jin said.

‘Baby are you serious? You’re telling me to sleep on the couch since your vase is broken.’ Namjoon said but immediately bite his tongue when Jin turned and glared at Namjoon.

‘O—ok I will sleep in the couch for a month.’ Namjoon said.

Jungkook couldn’t control his laugh despite the situation. Jin smiled because it’s been so long since he saw his son laughing like this and he wants to hear more.

‘Soobin is excited, so have breakfast and go quickly.’ Jin said and Jungkook nodded his head.
