From Heaven to Earth [Sequel to The Pack]

Chapter Two

(Kat's P.O.V)

" So who are you bringing?" Ember asked. "I'm bringing my friend, Seto.  He's really nice and I know he's been in a depressing time. So I want to make him happy by bringing him along to hang out with us!" I replied.

Ember smiled. "That's nice of you. So tell me more of your friend, Seto." She said.

I nodded. I told her all about him.

Even the most depressing times of his life.

I know it sounds bad to tell someone about somebody's life, but its not like that.

He has an interesting life. He's a sorcerer, so how can it be not interesting?

After I finished talking to Ember, I decided to text Seto.

K: Hey Seto! Wanna hang out with my friends and I? It will he fun!

S: I don't know. I'm not very social. And you know about my depression.

K: Come on Seto! I'm coming too! I'll be with you. Come on!

S: Fine. But who else will come?

K: My friends, Ember and Lachlan. They're really nice! Come over to my place. We're gonna meet Lachlan at Town Square.

S: Okay. See ya later Kat.

K: Bye.

Geez, I guess his depression got worse. But he never told me why he's depressed and scared.

(Seto's P.O.V)

Lachlan... I haven't heard that name in a week. He frightens me. He was the winner of the tournament.

He did help me escape, but still. Ever since I got freed from the basement, I never wanted to go outside.

And now I have to. Stay strong Seto. All you need is a potion to calm you down.

I quickly got up from my chair and started brewing a potion.

After that I went to Kat and Ember's house.

(Ember's P.O.V)

" Hey Ember, can you get the door please? I'm doing something important!" Kat said. "Okay! But hurry! We have to leave in five minutes!" I yell back.

I opened the door to see a boy with a purple hoodie that covered his face. "Are you Kat's friend?" He asked.

I nodded " Who are you?" I asked. He removed his hoodie.

" I'm Seto, Kat's friend. She told me to meet her at this address." Seto said.

"Okay then Come in!" I said. He accepted and entered our house.

Yeah, Kat and I moved in when the tournament ended. "Hold up Seto. I'm gonna go check if Kat is done" I said.

He nodded. I don't went to Kat's room and knocked.

"W-what is it?" She said. "Kat let's go! We don't have to time! Lachlan is probably waiting for us at Town Square!" I said. She sighed.

" Okay. I'll come out." She opened the door and held a picture of her brother, Jerome.

She had a teared stained face and red puffy eyes. "You okay Kat?" I asked.

"No. When I was combing my hair, I found this picture of Jerome. It made me cry that he's not here anymore." She stuttered.

I hugged her tightly. "Its okay. We're all sad here about they're deaths. But we have to stay strong for them." I said.

She nodded. "Let's just go" Kat said. I nodded.
