It is raining outside. Water droplets making a loud crispy sound with thunder making its way in between after every thirty seconds. The evening sky has turned dark gray. He is sitting on the couch looking. Looking. Looking at the man staring at him from inside the television. Looking at the man grinning at him. Looking at the man saying inaudible things. Looking at the knife in that man's hand. Looking at the dark red blood on the knife.

His attention is driven towards his dog barking. His attention is driven towards his scared dog barking because of the thunder. He stares at his dog for a bit and looks at the television again. He is met by nothing but a blank white screen. The man with the knife is gone. He turns off the television before making his way towards his bedroom.

He sits on his bed and looks around his own bedroom. The walls are covered with sketches of different people. Not all perfect. Not all beautiful. His desk is messy with books and pencils and pills. The mirror in his room showing his own reflection. Abstract paintings kept on top of a book stand full of books of all kinds.

He picks up his phone which is lying silent on his bed in his hand and starts scrolling through it. He gets bored and puts it away.

He opens his school bag and takes out his textbook and starts reading. He takes in all the information given in the eighth chapter. He takes in each and every name of famous scientists written in it.

As time passes by, and as the evening gray sky turns into a dark night, he gets bored and decides to take a nice nap to clear all his thoughts and wake up early.

As he slowly drifts off to sleep, all the whispers whispering,'You're a monster. Monster. Monster.' fade away.
