On Pause

Here I am crying out in pain

But you don't hear a word I say

All you hear is the goodbye I've said

And now you're heading to a different plain

Because of me and what was at bay

I bet you're out there laying on your bed

Thinking what a crazy teenager I am

And how stupid I am to care for him

You warned me that I truly didn't love the guy in my heart

I know that I was crazy from the start

But I don’t give a ham.

The words you’ve said

The things you’ve done

The hurt you cause

To think you have led

Led me to believe I was number one

But now this (what went on between us) will forever be on pause
