Chapter 11

It was late that night and the three of them were having their dinner after they had dealt with Serafall for the second time a day.

Not to mention it was very tiring, they got a glimpse of the second generation's Devil Kings. It was embarrassing to say the least, especially for Vienna who's family line hails from the blood of Great Devil King Lucifer himself.

"It was... disappointing." said Vienna with a frown.

"It was indeed." with an equally matching frown Eve stated.

[It was embarrassing!] added Gold.

"Ughh! Can we please stop now?" Xenosu said meekly who was tired of a certain magic girl's rant about making him her chef.

But a glare from both the girls stopped him in his tracks before he could continue.

[Whipped] said Gold in Xenosu's head smugly.

"Soon you too will be 'son'." chuckled Xenosu darkly.

Gold humphed and said [as if]

"It's a men's destiny to be 'whipped' by their women", Xenosu stated sagely.

[You will not stop will you?] grumbled Gold displeased.

"Now now. My dear chubby dragon, don't go emo on me."

[Mou! I'm a badass dragon, not some chubby dragon.]

If Gold was outside of his seal right now, everyone could have seen how embarrassed the dragon was.

Xenosu turned around and saw they were still arguing about the rather immature Devil king and as much it was amusing to watch both of them, he was rather tired today. So, he washed his plates in the sink and went to his room after wishing both Vienna and Eve good sleep.

7 am Sunday

POV Xenosu

If I said, I was nervous it would be an understatement.

In my long and eventful life, I didn't had a date with someone relatively new to me and they even knew about my celestial identity.

Educating Vienna about outer worlds and realms was rather interesting though while initially freaked out, she took the knowledge rather well afterward.

Why did I decide to bother ourselves and explain her? Well because we did become very nice friends and with her 'not so obvious' affection towards me, which was increasing day by day it will do more good than harm to come clean with everything she needs to know about us before getting any idea.

Now about our date, I had been making some preparations for it, visiting places, thinking about a special dish, some presentable gifts and many things. To say I wasn't excited would be a lie.

9 am Sunday

I made some final preparation for my date afterward. I really don't have a very good dressing sense, most of the time, wearing anything presentable I get near me.

Nice and tidy hair, check. A good suit and pants with boots and a watch that actually looks good with it, check. Perfu- why do I even need perfume? It's not like I smell bad or anything, most of the supernatural being doesn't have a body odor. Honestly, sometimes (read every time) I don't understand women.

Suddenly a shiver ran down my spine.

I wonder why?

With Eve

I looked at Vienna and sighed in satisfaction, honestly who could have thought, preparing this girl for a date would be this much of a hassle.

"Vienna you are looking good." I said looking at my handcraft.

"I-It's thanks to you Eve!" She exclaimed quietly, her face turning to blush.

It was amusing to watch a grown lady behave like this but I can understand. Growing up in a suffocating environment, where your family looking yourself as nothing but a waste and eventually trying to kill you, struggling to survive out in a world where if the words get out, you'll be nothing more than a breeding tool, working alone in a completely new environment.

Leaving those thoughts aside I looked at the girl sitting beside me, again.

She's wearing relatively normal clothes, black jeans, a yellow blouse with a blue scarf around her neck. Even if simple, it's probably a big step for someone like her.

I complimented her appearance once again honestly and not like the previous one with teasing. She let out some little cute noise and her flushed deepened, which was adorable.

How cute~/ kawaii koto~

Hello Readers, it's me your not so punctual, shameless and filthy casual Author~!

Jokes apart here is the promised wonderl- I mean chapter! And I know it's shot no need to remind me duh.

This chapter took a lot of time. I had this crazy idea of writing some mature scene as I thought I'll do it better than a dating scene? It was a bad decision.

I will work on the dating scene now, I read some books which had date scenes to get a general idea about it and I guess it will do good, do let me know in the next chapter how's it.

Now on a serious note, as I said in my new book which I'll recommend you guys to read, I am kinda lost to where to go with it. When I made this book, I was thinking of a slice of life book so, some of you can find this boring. I'll continue this book but the updates will take time.

[Slow Updates] I'm thinking of making this book priority number 2? Is it fine with you guys?

I'm saying this again, my exams are not over so the update of both books will take some time so please bear with me! :)
