Its been a few months since we told Luke's parents. As i thought, they didnt take it well. They didnt take it well at all. A few pictures were thrown, profanities were tossed, pushing was involved but i of course protected Luke from it all considering the fact that he was balling his eyes out and wasnt mentally stable at the time.
What really made me mad was that his brothers just stood there in the corner watching me and Luke with concerned eyes but did nothing.
When i got tired of hearing them yell i just flipped them off and walked out as they shouted at me to bring Luke back in. I ignored them though and walked fast with Luke still crying with his head down next to me. I stopped us at the nearest park and i motioned for Luke to sit on the grass. he did so, but looked down the whole time.
"Hey'' i said softly trying to get his attention but he didnt budge.
"Hey Luke." no response
"Babyyy" Still no response
"Hey baby penguin i love you." I say and I could see Luke crack a smile then he looked at me.
"Theres that smile." I say looking at him fondly.
He crawls over t me and climbs into my arms. We lay there for awhile and i just think.
I really love this kid.
