Aron was in the top 0.5 percentile for the SAT, an exam used for college admissions in the United States. He received 2180 points out of 2400, and got 100% on the writing part of the exam.

Aron was admitted to New York University and was intending to major in Journalism, but decided to come to Korea instead!

Kim Jung Hoon debuted as a member of the duet UN in 2000. But before that, he scored an amazing 380 out of 400, which put him at the top 0.02% of all test takers that year! He was accepted to Seoul National University's coveted dentistry program, but went back to school to study theater and film!


When Rain was a trainee, he was told by Park Jin Young that JYP Entertainment doesn't debut trainees who don't do well academically. So he studied, studied, and studied to achieve around 340~350 in his exams!



Nearly all of TWICE's members have reportedly purchased apartments within the past two years, but JYP Entertainment has previously stated that they are still living in their shared dorm.

National Pride, TWICE's Momo, Sana and Mina Receives Medal of Honor Purple Ribbon

TWICE' Japanese members Momo, Sana and Mina were bestowed with the Honor Medal with Purple Ribbon on Monday (24), becoming the youngest recipient of the prize, one of the most prestigious in Japan.

"Firstly, thank you very much for giving us such a precious Medal." Mina, wearing traditional 'kimono' dress, said as she received the award from Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. "I think it's an honor to be awarded along with all the seniors and teachers here. And truthfully, I think this award is still above what we deserve. However, I'll think of it as an award telling us to try harder in the future and receive it gratefully. Thank you to ONCEs and our families, who always cheer and trust us from near and far. We'll continue to contribute in bring hope to Japanese youth around the world."

Momo said during her speech. "I'm not sure. I don't know how to express what I'm feeling in my heart now. I think my family will really be proud of me after this. I'm not good at expressing it, but the Purple Ribbon Medal, it's a very big award. It's not light, but an award of valuable weight that carries very many staffs' hard work and passion, the blood and sweat of TWICE, and the powerful shout of ONCEs around the world. I'll continue to work hard to return all the honor to everyone who brought us here. Thank you and I love you all. I hope everybody here only has good days ahead."

"I don't give the speeches very often, so it feels like my heart is going to explode now that I'm here. Everybody, this award is so meaningful because it was made by our nine members, company family, staffs, manager, and you guys together. I think it's telling me again how meaningful it is to me. So I'm so grateful to everyone that's with us and I want to tell you that this award is yours. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. We must be the youngest juniors here probably, it's an honor to meet all the seniors I respect. I will try to be a good influence to many people like the seniors." The time for the speeches was ended by Sana with a heart warming message.

The 24-year-old became the first japanese born artists in more than six decades to have a sold out a stadium concert outside Asia, with TWICE World Tour 'Blue Hour' that started at South Korea, in April. They also performed at the opening and ending of Japan 2020 Olympics, despite Mina's right ankle injury weeks before the performance.
