LISA

Weeks of torture is the least way I have in mind but just being a respectful youngster from my so called family, I let them decide. I let them do what they intend to do while I did what I need to do on the other clan.

However, things gotten outhanded and made me feel impatient. It made me feel like I am nowhere to go or nowhere to move or much worst I feel like I am stuck, circling in a place back and forth and nothing is moving actually forward.

"How does the clans doing?" Jisoo asked upon entering the living room, fixating all her things on hand.

"Nothing new, or I might say, they've been looking for their two leaders. Of course, that was expected but their reluctantness, and being calm is suspicious."

"Or they must've noticed your absence then, and suspected you?" Jennie commented yet I notice the quick eye contact with Jisoo.

"Possible. But it's not new to me, since I was the newbie who just joined their so called months ago." I plainly emphasized which made Jisoo chuckle but Jennie remained silent, slowly tapped the vase behind her.

"Are you certain you're not followed here?" Jennie defensively asked, and even went right through the window.

"I secure the place. And I would sense them immediately, so if ever there would be, they should be dead by now." I averted my attention to Rosé, when she remained silent. She's really not herself right after the accident happened.

"I am sure I saw a vulture just now or it is just my imagination."

"Would you like me to check?" Rosé finally spoke yet there is something that I couldn't fathom as both Jennie and Jisoo look uneasy.

"Are you all okay? Are you even okay now Rose Ann?" I asked but in return they all flinced and even stiffened.

"I am okay. Its just that the vervein doesn't feel quite removed from my system yet." I nodded while averting to Jisoo, who's been staring at me.

"Then if they manage to sneak it, I'll deal with them later." I said, which the two made a heave out of relief.

"Seriously, I am okay Jisoo. It's not like -."

"I'll take care of it. Now, Let's get down to business. So, What now Jennie?" I asked before getting myself a  glass of wine.

"They won't talk even if we hang them, they're rooted with verveins." I hummed before looking at them one by one.

"Then I think its my turn." I mumbled but Rosé immediately stood up.

"I thought you'll go check the surroundings. I'll go try again." She said but doesn't even spare me a glance. And just strode in a flash.

"Weird. Isn't she?" I met Jisoo's stare yet it was her body language that buffled me most. "Anything you both wanted to tell me?" I seriously asked the two but they just shrugged it off.

"Don't be so paranoid Priya. We'll see you at dinner." Jisoo said as she gather her things and tapped Jennie's back.

"Are you sure, Jisoo?" She sighed and ignore me once again.

"She must've hard time coping. You know, after what happened last time." Jennie whispered yet met my gaze before following Jisoo outside.

"For the third time, is there anything you're not tell me Jennie?" She look back and just arched her brow high.

"No, shouldn't we be keeping secrets?"

"Well said." I remarked and both of them just nod.

I walk over the window, and watch them go before I went out to check whoever the pest that been roaming around. Not long enough, I could sense not one but more of them.
