"My brother?" I said, confused. "No, that's a lie. My mom had surgery after she gave birth to me. They said she couldn't have any more vacuum children!"

Dave frowned. "Let's just get this guy out."

Well Dave popped open that box with an Exacta knife and that old vacuum was outta there in no time. Dave and I stared at the blue vacuum. It was motionless.

All of the sudden, it started to move. It looked up.

"HELLO."

Dave and I exchanged worried glances. My "brother" had a robotic voice.

"What's your name?" I asked.

"They call me Shoney," Shoney answered.

"Hey Shoney," Dave and I said at the same time.

Shoney and I began to talk alone in Dave's room. Dave went to the kitchen to eat some cake. He did that a lot. No one knows why. No one had mentioned anything about the supposed brother ship.

"I think I'm gonna go suck up some trash in the kitchen," Shoney said.

I nodded and Shoney disappeared into the hallway.

A few seconds later I heard a scream. I ran into the kitchen to see something I never would've wanted to see. This was just wrong. This was pure mutation. I somehow knew that the culprit would blame it on a malfunction.

This was my owner, my protector...my best friend. lying on the floor. Half of his body sucked and shrunk into the vacuum, Shoney. The vacuum that had been accused of being my brother.

And this, this horrible death, this was only the beginning.
