Request: Derek hale x reader they meet while picking up their siblings aka Cora and Liam.
Warnings:  none

Coming home from a long day at your boring job was probably the best feeling ever. All you wanted to do was go to bed, but after your father called you, saying someone needed to pick up your younger brother, Liam, you found yourself driving to go pick up Liam.

When you reached Beacon Hills High, you sent him a text, saying that you were outside. You forgot to put your car on the brakes, causing it to go forward, hitting another car. You were shocked and mad at yourself for letting that happened.

It was a black Camaro. You climbed out of your car, in shock, you walked to the other car's window, to apologize to the owner.

You knocked at the window. The window went down, as you went in even more shock as you recognized the man driving the car.

"Derek?!" you exclaimed.

"(Y/N)!" he stuttered, as he immediately lept out of his car.

"I-I uh, didn't know you were back at Beacon Hills," you said.

"Yeah, sorry." Derek said.

"So, what brings you back to Beacon Hills?" you asked.

"Uhm, nothing important, just some business." Derek quickly replied.

"Oh." was all you could say, a little mad at yourself that you couldn't help but sound like an idiot.

You and Derek were good friends in High School. Until he moved away. You knew his house burned down, and his mother died, but you didn't know much more. You secretly had a crush on him, and never knew that he had one too.

"Yeah, I was coming home from work, then my dad said that I had to go pick up my brother. Which brought me here. And I'm very very sorry that I hit your car," you spoke.

"Oh, don't worry about it. We all make some mistakes. Besides, I barely felt anything." Derek laughed softly.

"Heh, yeah. So, you're here to pick up Cora?" you asked.

"Yeah. I didn't know you had a younger brother."

"Yeah, his name is Liam. He's a freshman. Just started."

"Well, maybe Cora knows him." Derek said.

Just as he said that you and Derek heard two voices coming out of the school.

You saw Liam and Cora walking with each other, talking about god knows what.

"I'm just saying, it's not fair that Scott and Stiles get to ditch school. All the time." you heard Liam complain.

"Liam, they're seniors, and you're a freshman. It's just how it's supposed to be. Just leave it." Cora said, looking a little annoyed.

"Hey, kiddo!" you exclaimed.

"Oh, hey (Y/N)! Cora, this is my sister, (Y/N)." Liam introduced.

"I know. It's nice to see you, (Y/N)." Cora smiled, as she went into Derek's car.

"Okay, go to the car, I'll be there in a minute." you said to Liam.

He nodded his head and walked away.

"So, I guess I'll see you around then?" you said to Derek.

"Actually, I was wondering if you wanted to have dinner with me, sometime?" Derek asked, nervous.

"Like a date?" you grinned widely.

"Uh, yeah. I suppose. Will you go on a date with me, (Y/N) Dunbar?" Derek blushed.

"I would love that." you laughed softly.

"Awesome! It was really, really good seeing you again, (Y/N)!" Derek said happily.

"It was nice seeing you too! Bye, Derek!" you said as you hopped into your car, a large grin on your face.

"So, how do you know Cora?" Liam asked.

"I knew her brother, Derek, in High School." you replied, happily, as you drove home.
