14. Fast food

STORMCHASER

I lay down on the uncomfortable metal table watching Knockout fix up the giant blue mech. My face flushes when I feel my stomach grumble and see the two cons turn to me, "Uh....I think I'm hungry." 

I laugh awkwardly slipping on the hearing aids. 

"You should remember to eat more in your human form." I scoff jumping off the table changing out of my holoform, as I do the hungry feeling dissapears. 

"Wanna go to a race?" I call out to the red mech as I sway my way out of the med bay.

I walk down to empty hallway when I hear a clank behind me. I turn to look behind me to find "Lord Megatron" I bow my head looking down. "Stormchaser, I need to speak with you." I nod looking up at the tall mech.

"What do you need, My lord?" He gestures to start walking, I follow him standing closely behind him. "What is is you remember about your sire?" I furrow my brow looking over at him. 

"...Well" I pause trying to think. "I remember he was a commander, and he seemed to be close with Knockout and Breakdown." I look up at the tall titan. "Is there a reason you asked, my lord?" Megatron looked down at me with an odd look in his eyes before he blinks. "No reason, I shall be going now." He spoke gruffly before stomping off.

I blinked confused before turning. Oh right, I was looking for Soundwave. I start walking in the direction of the throne room, peeking in I quickly spot Soundwave at his station. I was about to jump on him when he 'spoke' and by speak I mean used a audio recording 

"What are you doing Commander?" 

Just for your information I did not yelp. I jumped and made I sound of surprise. " I was hoping to scare you." I frowned looking up at the silent mech that was staring at me in what I assume is exasperation. "Can you make a ground bridge to these coordinates for me and the doc?" I watch as he made a movement with his helm before raising his arm and opening a bridge.

"Thank you!" I call as I place my mouth to the side of his visor before dashing into the swirl of green and blue. I hope out of the bridge in the middle of a road in the open desert. I stumble slightly looking around. I quickly transform into my bike form and turn on my holoform. 

I sit on my bike form waiting for Knockout to appear so we can go get a burger then find a race. I groan flopping backwards uncomfortable. 

I jump up when I finally hear the familiar sound of the ground bridge. Knockout speed out in his car form coming to a halt next to me. "Finally! I've been waiting for ever!" I whine, waving my arms wildly. "It's only been like 10 minutes, 'Chaser" He huffs "Now, where's this food place you want to go to?" I grin.

"This way!"

We come to a stop in front of a burger joint, the doors were open and I could see a few people inside.  

"Lets go inside and get some food." I hopped off the bike form and turned to the red car next to me. "Do you want to come in with me?" The driver side door opened and out came a familiar face.

"Doc" I smiled. "Is that a yes?"

He just rolls his eyes.
