Lisa woke up from a terrible nightmare, being covered in sweat, she quickly sat up and took a deep breath.
She remembered the nightmare where she was in the dark streets beeing hunted by two men with flashlights.
All she knew in the Dream was that she needed to hide the diamond. She was running in the middle of big streets,
smaller streets and little alleys but always hearing them behind her. It didn't matter how quick she ran, they
were always as fast as her. And it was really dark everywhere, pitch black.
After some time she found herself in a dead end where the two came to her. She finally could see their faces.
It was her Brother and the schools caretaker.
She hid the diamond behind her while glaring at them. The caretaker just took out his gun and shot her while
her brother just plucked the diamond out of her hand. the two then turned around and left her behind without
light and lots of pain. She got shot right in her stomach. She collapsed and the world started to fade away.
The diamond! Lisa quickly checked for it. She couldn't find it and started to panic.
She went deeper under her cussion and finally felt something. She quickly wrapped her Hand around it and pulled
it out. As soon it was outside she opened her hand and saw the Diamond resting in her palm. She sighed in relief
when suddendly the door opened.
"Is my litlle sister awake?" Her brother asked. "No she isn't! Now get out!" She pouted throwing her cussion
towards him. Luckily for him he closed the door quick enough and laughed. "Okaay! Im gonna prepare us some
breakfast!" Lisa mumbled a while and dressed herself after looking at her watch. 7:02
Leaving her Room her nose caught a delicious smell. Following it she found herself in the kitchen.
What she saw surprised her. Her brother was at the stove making french toast. She walked over to him.
"I didn't know we had toast?" "We didn't but I just bought it" he handed her a toast on a plate along with fork
and knife. "Here, eat already." She slowly took the plate and went to the living room. When she had finished her
first toast Dean sat next to her and started to eat as well. "Its good! When did you learn that?!"
"Oh every now and then ..." Lisa kept eating until her plate was empty. She wanted more but knew she was already
full. She sighed. "Okay im gonna pack my backpack now ..." "i will wait for you!" Dean told Lisa while she went
back to her Room to grab her Backpack. She took and put the diamond into a secret pocket.
Shouldering her Backpack on the back she locked her room and went to the main door where Dean waited.
"Can we go now?" He asked, to which Lisa only nodded. "OK, lets go."
They went out of the door. Lisa closed and locked it. On the way down Dean explained what he had planned.
"Okay, so, im will bring you to your school. I'm late anyway so i have at least a real excuse."
Lisa laughed. "So thats why you waited for me!" Dean started getting red und mumbled something.
"So, anyway," he continued "After i drop you off, im gonna go to my job. At what time does your school begin?"
"8:00 AM" Lisa told him while checking her watch again. "And its already 7:43." She added.
The rest of the way to her school went peacefully by. They got some strange looks from one or two people but
nothing more.
At school her Brother stopped. "Ok Lisa, im gonna pick you up. When is school out?" "2:45 PM"
"Ok, i'll be there. If not, come to the shop. okay?" Lisa nodded and turned around to go.
"No kiss for your Big Brother?" He asked sadly to which Lisa sighed and gave an annoyed "Noo."
Dean chuckled "Okay! Have a great day!" Lisa sighed again and turned around "Byee!" She waved to which Dean
smiled and started to sprint to his Job.
At the entrance the Bullies were waiting. "Who was that? Your Boyfriend?" The leader of the five asked.
The rest started laughing.
"Just shut up and let me pass." Lisa retorted annoyed. "hmm. No." The Rest started to laugh even more.
"What do you want?" She asked in a sarcastig tone. "You want me to kiss your feet and treat you as gods?"
The speaker wanted to answer but Lisa interrupted him. "No chance." Pushing them left and right she entered
the building. Short before the class room she checked her watch again. 7:56. She looked up a second too late
and bumped for the third time into the caretaker. They both got their balance back before they would fall.
Lisa sighed. "Sorry." While going past him. She felt that he was looking at her from behind. She hated this
feeling and started getting nervous and feeling her scar from inside the mouth with her tongue.
She noticed the mask has moved a bit so she moved it back into position.
Lisa entered the class unnoticed. She wanted to go to her seat when she saw Jenny. Her "Friend".
Jenny is the only one who really notices Lisa and also the only one she can talk to without having the feeling
of beeing a stranger to the world.
She wasn't a real Friend, but she was the closest thing next to it. Jenny had open, dark-brown hair down to her
shoulders and green eyes. Her skin was a bit pale, and she had lots of freckles. She didn't use make-up but
looked beautiful nevertheless.
She already had had seven boyfriends and too many dates.
"Morning Lisa! Decided to show up to school today?" she greeted Lisa with her melodic voice. Lisa only nodded.
Compared to Jenny she was an abomination she used to say to herself.
"Well, good for you! Wednesday, after you left we had a math test and Thursday, so yesterday, We had an english
vocabulary test!
And since most of us did well on both, like me, we are gonna have a new seating plan! Isn't that great?!"
"Mhmm." Lisa murmured. She was never a big fan of all that stuff. "What's our first lesson?" Lisa asked Jenny.
Jenny immediatly answered. "Physics!" Good. At least one thing thats ok.
"Here?" Jenny nodded. "And because tomorrow is start of the week-end we won't get homeworks!" she cheered while
standing up, making room for lisa. Jenny loved school, but not homework.
Lisa sat down on her place sighing once more. Jenny asked her "Can we now please sit next to each other?
Pleaaaase?" "No Jenny and you know why." Lisa looked at her sternly "ok fiiine ..." Jenny muttered sadly but
didnt stay sad for very long.
Jenny is more or less the opposite of Lisa. Lisa is mostly sad, depressed and says no to most of things.
And Jenny, well. Shes a bundle of positive energy and says yes to almost everything.
The Physics teacher mister Bailing entered .,. "Morning class!"
"Morning Mister Bailing!" Everybody sat down and Jenny quickly found her way back to her own place.
"Okay. Everybody quiet please. Let's check the list of attendants."
"Leroy?" "here."
"Alex?" "Yes."
"Oliver?" "Aye."
Lisa stopped listening. After a minute she started to listen again.
"Luci?" "here."
"Jennifer?" "Here!"
Now me Lisa thought.
"Lisa?" "Yes!" she confirmed.
"Oh? I already wanted to enter you as missing. Good to know that you are honoring us with your presence today
Lisa!" Mister Bailing said. Half of the class giggled.
"Okay enough class. Last one. Samantha?"
No answer. "Samantha?"
Leroy raised his hand. "Yes Leroy?"
"Samantha is ill. She texted me short before you came in Mister Bailing."
"Okay. Thanks Leroy." Mister Bailing said while adding some notes into the Class book.
"Okay class, welcome to this Fridays physics lesson. Today we are gonna learn-"
But Lisa wasn't listening anymore. Instead she was drawing. She knew she couldn't draw well, but she still did
her best.
She didn't notice her surrounding anymore, while she was drawing the time went by quick. Then she heard the bell,
grabbed her backpack and went to recess.
Jenny caught up with her. "Why are you taking your Bag with you?"
Lisa didn't answer. "Commooon. Pleaaase?" Jenny begged but Lisa sighed. "I have something in the backpack that is
important to me." "Oh? And what would that be?" a harsh voice interrupted Jenny.
Lisa looked up and saw the five bullies next to her. "Shut up and let us pass." Lisa told them and glared at them.
"Yeah let them go. Or else im gonna give you detention." An older voice appeared behind Lisa. Startled she turned
around. The Caretaker.
Since the Boys didn't really like to have detention they quickly left them alone.
Jenny looked at the caretaker confused. "Why do you help us?" Lisa gave her a warning look. Jenny, who opened her
mouth to ask something else, quickly closed it. The Caretaker smiled at Jenny. "Would you be so kind and leave the
two of us alone? We have to discuss something important!" Jenny got flustered. "S-sure!" She said and went her way
while Lisa was staying behind with the Caretaker.
"I heard you were searching for a detective?" He asked Lisa. "Uh- yeah? But-" He interrupted her.
"Well, I've got a Friend that actually is a detective! He has No case to work at at the Moment! Im sure he would
be happy to help you out!" "Uhm- sure." Lisa stuttered.
"Okay so-" He took out a piece of paper and wrote a number down for her. "That's his phone number! He isn't
available by phone before four though. I will tell him that youre gonna call him!" With these words he left Lisa
standing alone in the recess area. Uhm ... That was strange. she thought and went on to search for Jenny.
