You broke into my sinful life
You shot me down and stole my heart
With just a look you locked me up
I guess it's bad luck

Tanirika stared at her reflection echoing near the pond, the duck's swan rhythmically in the pond singing the sweet mahogany of the air and warmth of the moon.
Her hair was left loose falling on her back, her veil long gone resting near her. She was only wearing her nose ring and hairpin as she sat near one of the magnificent ponds attached to her chambers. The water moved with the ducks making the withered lotus float away from them. She kept staring at the movement of the ducks her mind absolute blank. She brought her knees closer to her chest, wrapping her hands around them, she rested her chin on her left knee.
Sometimes silence was your best friend. The silence and beauty of nature provided solace to her chaotic mind. She didn't know what was future holding for her it can be happy or worse whatever it was she was stronger and she knew she was going to survive through everything.
Tanirika was the most loved daughter in her family. Being the heir to the throne and daughter of her father's most loved wife she was always the pearl of her kingdom, the maids loved her, the ministers adored her and the people of her kingdom respected her. Her rail of thoughts took her back to the past when she unmarried, there were hundreds of kings and prince waiting for her to marry them. But she didn't like anyone they were all full of themselves.
They were proud of something their ancestors and father made. How many wars did they fight? How many kingdoms flourished under their reign? She never dreamed of walking alone miles away from her kingdom for a treaty and falling for someone her little heart would never dream of. She laughed thinking about all those curses she threw at her future husband for making her come out of her home. She hated travelling.
"Your majesty, the dinner is served " a maid bowed bringing her back to the real world. Tanirika nodded at her making her way towards her chambers. Her chamber was no more the same as before. The bed and many other pieces of furniture were changed after the holy cleansing of the room took place. Her bed no longer held a canopy, it was open from every end. The golden furniture was now changed with bamboo fitted heavily architectured intricate designs imported from Romania.
