The lives of the people were sailing smoothly, weekends were for family getaways and meeting friends, house parties were common and at times we looked for escape plans to avoid meeting someone. Holidays were for family trips and vacations and this is how the GenZ and the millennials had been living.

Until one day the pandemic stuck and left everyone locked up in their houses, devoid of any human interaction, taking away our right to breathe freely and making us regret of all those cancelled plans in the past.

Jennifer and Harshad had taken the babies on a family vacation to Florida post which they had gone to Goa to celebrate the twins' birthday. On returning they had resumed their work which included brand commercials and short movies. Jenny didn't take up a big project as Aurie was still a little baby. And Kai and Zen were also dependent on her to a large extent. So her motherly heart didn't allow her to be away from them for much long. She had an off and she had taken all the kids for a playdate along with Harsha and their father.

Harshad had wrapped up his shoot early and had come home only to find his perfect present waiting for him. He had seen the trend on the internet and wanted to try it out with his family. He wanted to see the reaction of his little baby bears. As he opened up the box, out came a giant size teddy bear, a huge zip at the back keeping in all the stuffing that was filled inside. He checked with Jenny on a call who had informed him that she was on her way home as Aurie was cranky and Harsha had decided to drop Amyra, Kai and Zen home later as they were happily playing with their bua and Dadu.

Taking out the stuffing from inside and storing it nicely in a box, he tried fitting into the human size bear. Grinning to himself, he patiently waited for Jenny and Aurie to be home. As soon as his phone pinged with the message of Jenny's car entering into the premises of the apartment complex, he took his position after dropping her a text.

"Going for a quick shower love. There's a surprise waiting for the babies. Hope they like it. Come soon. ~Harshad"

Jenny smiles as soon as she reads the text after parking her car. Unbuckling Aurelia from her car seat, she picks her up and the baby bag as they move towards the elevator.

"My baby looks so tired. You just want to go home and snuggle with Daddy and Mommy right? Come, we'll spend some time alone and put you down for a nap after giving you your milk. Let's see what Daddy's got you. Can you say Dadda?" She kisses on top of her head as Aurie sucks her thumb and rests her head on her shoulder.
