Hello all you beautiful readers! How's life treating you guys? It has been pretty hectic off late isn't it? Sorry for not being here for more than a month but I got occupied with a lot of stuff workwise as well as personal life. But I'm back with another OS.
This is purely fictional and another of a made-up plot where Jenny and Harshad are just characters. No hate comments for anyone in personal life please. It's a humble request.
The inspiration for the plot is from a movie so I don't take complete credits. However I just wanted it to be with these two with my own additions and changes in the plot obviously.
Also I had completely lost touch with my writing so this isn't one of my finest works. But I just wanted to get back and write something so here we are. Please bear with me and leave your honest feedback.😅

The big day has finally ended as Harshad had finally managed to seal the deal and sign a MoU with his Asian counterpart and this step means their business would be taken to the next level. This is what he had been waiting for since the day he started this company 13 years ago and now he was ready to conquer the world after his successful stint in American and Latin American markets.

Harshad Chopda is a 35 year old entrepreneur who had moved to New York city after his MBA from Stanford to start his own venture and has finally been able to achieve what he dreamt of. As soon as he entered his cabin to call the most important person in his life, his phone buzzed and his face lit up seeing the text on his phone.

He'll be meeting her finally after 5 years. But was he ready to accept the reality? Pinching the bridge of his nose, he sits back on his chair and starts thinking about the incidents that happened 5 years ago.

Jenny and Harshad had been best friends since high school. Harshad had joined as a freshman when his family had moved from the west coast all the way to the east coast and he couldn't have been happier. He easily made friends, excelled in academics as well as sports.

However his OCD and mild anxiety disorders came as a hindrance as he used to overthink his each move, while people his age made impulsive decisions. Being good at sports, he still preferred to hang out with geeks as it was always the academics that held his interest more and controlled his nerves.

The best part of the whole moving situation was his friendship with Jennifer Winget, the most popular girl in school. Harshad had taken an instant liking for her when he had joined and they had made out once in one of the parties after they both really got drunk.

Harshad barely remembered any of it but it was Jenny who had walked up to him the next day and asked him out. They used to hang out together, work as partners in projects, worked after school together and had the same friend group. In no time, they had become best friends who were dating each other.

But before things could move further, Jenny realised that they were better off as friends than lovers and called it quits. Harshad was heartbroken but he didn't want to lose his best friend so he had agreed to happily settle into the friendzone.

As they moved into college, they started dating other people and moved on in their life. They were involved in hook-ups, flings and more dating but eventually ended up being single time and again as none of those relationships lasted long term. But one thing that lasted was their friendship.
