Hinata's Sick Day

"Komaeda! There you are!" The voice of Makoto Naegi called from behind Nagito, who had just been walking down one of the many hallways in the Future Foundation building on his way to his next assignment.

"Oh, hello Naegi-kun! What does someone as amazing as the Ultimate Hope himself want with trash like me?" Komaeda responded with a smile.

Naegi let out a sigh. "You're not trash, how many times do we have to tell you! You're a valued member of the Future Foundation and my friend!"

Before Komaeda had the chance to start ranting about how he disagreed with Naegi, the shorter male cut him off. "Anyways I just wanted to ask if you'd seen Hinata today"

Komaeda looked at Naegi in confusion. "Actually I haven't, why?"

"Well, it's just.. he didn't show up to work this morning and I'm a little worried"

"He didn't show up? As in you haven't seen him all day or he just isn't here?"

"Both? Look, I'm worried about Hinata and I just want you to go check on him, you're the closest with him, right?"

"Hinata-kun is my boyfriend"

"Yeah you're the closest with him like I said!"

"So, you want me to go to his house and see if he's okay?"

"Uh, yeah!"

"Will do, you can count on me Naegi-kun!" Komaeda said cheerfully as he left to go check on his boyfriend.

"Hinata-kuun~ Are you home? Naegi sent me to check on you since you didn't show up to work today!" Komaeda said as he knocked on the door of Hinata's house.

He waited for a few seconds for an answer before knocking again.

"Hinata-kun? Are you here?"

No response.

Komaeda was starting to get a little worried.

"Hajime?"

No response.

Komaeda sighed "I guess I'll have to go inside on my own then," he said as he took out the spare key to his boyfriend's house. Why not use it first you ask? Who knows. It's Komaeda.

He used the key to enter Hinata's house and called for him once again.

"Hajime, I'm really worried so if I find you here you better have a good reason not to have answered me..!"

Komaeda looked all around the house until the only place left to look was the bedrooms.

"Hinata-kun?" He said, walking into the main bedroom, and luckily, Hinata was laying on the bed, unharmed.

"Hajime! Oh I'm so glad you're okay Naegi and I were so worried and I-" Komaeda went over to hug his boyfriend but..

"Oh, he's asleep..? Oh no, he's burning up!" Komaeda exclaimed before rushing off to get a cold cloth for Hinata.

He sent a quick text to Naegi to let him know Hinata was alright as well, so that at least he could focus back on the Future Foundations hope restoring duties.

He went back into the bedroom and put the cold cloth on Hinata's forehead, to try and bring his fever down a little.

Hmm.. What could Komaeda do that was helpful while his boyfriend was resting..

Clean of course!

Komaeda went all around the house to clean it, but it seems that Hinata had cleaned it the day before, so there wasn't much needing to be done.

"So much for that plan.." he sighed.

"Hmm, maybe I can make something for Hinata-kun to eat when he wakes up! He'll no doubt be feeling quite unwell.." Komaeda said before walking into the kitchen to make some soup. That's a good thing to make for someone who's sick, right?

Just as he was finishing up, he heard something from the bedroom. "Oh, is Hinata-kun waking up? Just as I was finishing his meal too! How lucky!" he hurried into the bedroom to see his boyfriend waking up, just as he thought.

"Wakey wakey Hinata-kun~" he said as he looked down at his adorable boyfriend.

"Mmm.. morning Nagito.." Hinata mumbled sleepily as he rubbed his eyes. "What time is it..?"

"Oh, around 12:30 why are you asking?"

Hinata's eyes widened and he sat up quickly, the cold cloth falling off his forehead. "Shit! I overslept! I have to get to work!-"

Komaeda rushed over and gently pushed him so he was laying down again. "Nope, you're not going anywhere."

"But- Nagito I have work to do and oh my god I feel horrible-" he said, sighing.

Komaeda kissed his boyfriend's forehead before putting the cloth back.

"You were burning up earlier, so I tasked myself with taking care of you!" he grinned down at his boyfriend.

"So are you hungry? I made you some soup if you want, but of course you don't have to accept-"

"Yes please, I'm starving."

"Oh, okay!" Komaeda went to bring the still-warm soup to Hinata on a tray, along with some kusamochi as a treat, with a wide grin on his face.

Hinata had adjusted himself to a sitting up position leaning against the backboard of the bed as his boyfriend handed him the tray. "Thank you Nagito" He said as he sipped some of the soup.

"Awe, are you sure you don't want me to feed you~?" Komaeda teased with a slight smirk, causing Hinata to blush.

"Shut it! I'm perfectly capable of feeding myself!" Hinata said as he ate more of the soup, the blush still prominent on his face.

"That's not what I was asking Hinata-kun"

"You know you can just call me Hajime now, we're dating"

"Yeah, I know" Komaeda picked up one of the kusamochi and held it in front of Hinata. "Now say aaah~"

"I'm not letting you feed me..!-"

"Pleeease?" Komaeda gave Hinata his best puppy-dog-eyes.

Hinata sighed "Fine" he opened his mouth to let Komaeda feed him the kusamochi, which he gladly did with a small giggle.

"You're so cute Hinata-kun" Komaeda said, sitting on the bed beside his spiky-haired boyfriend, kissing his cheek.

"I guess" Hinata mumbled, continuing to eat the soup.

A bit after he'd finished the food Komaeda had prepared for him, he laid back down. Komaeda rested his head on Hinata's chest before looking up at him.

"Did you sleep in your binder again?" "..." "You know it's not safe to do that Hinata-kun, you should know better" "Yeah yeah.." "Take it off, I won't look"

Komaeda turned around as his boyfriend took off his shirt to remove his binder, before putting the shirt back on. Komaeda rested his head back on Hinata's chest.

"You really like using my chest as a pillow, huh-" "Why wouldn't I? Hinata-kun's chest is so soft, almost better than a pillow! Especially since it makes you all flustered like this" "I am not.. 'flustered'!-" "Aww, you totally areee~" "No I'm not!-" "You're blushing though~!" "Shut up!-"

The two of them continued this back and forth for a bit, with Komaeda teasing Hinata and Hinata getting flustered all too easily.

Komaeda got up to put the tray that had previously had food on it back in the kitchen, and when he returned to his boyfriend's room, Hinata seemed to be asleep. Komaeda grinned, Hinata looked adorable like this. Then again, Hinata was always adorable.

Komaeda cuddled up to Hinata and closed his eyes, once again using Hinata's chest as a pillow, and eventually falling asleep with his spiky-haired boyfriend. Who would no doubt wake up extremely flustered.

Komaeda likes it that way though.
