HIM:
Anxious thoughts and
Trembling fingers
Overpowered his system as She
Appeared in his mind for the umpteenth
Time.
Today was Monday;
He'd finally get to see her again.
Usually
He loved weekends.
Lived for them, actually.
But this one made him feel
As if his feet were cemented
Onto the little square on his calender marked
Saturday.
"NICK!! Get out of bed, you'll be late!"
His mother's shrill voice interrupted his thoughts.
He sighed and closed his eyes.
Every time he closed his eyes,
Her galactic blue ones burned through the
Blackness of his eyelids;
Putting Neptune to shame.
He pulled himself out of his reverie
And slung his back pack over his shoulder.
Here goes another day in hell.
But it will be less miserable with Her there.

HER:
Chloe's eyes fluttered open
And glanced towards her clock;
5 AM;
An hour before she had to wake up.
A loud scratching sound
Sounded from her ceiling.
"God fvcking damn it!"
Gathering enough wits,
She jumped out of bed and pounded the walls
Until a faint scurrying and silence
Covered the room like a quilt.
That damn bird. Create a nest in any other place besides the roof directly above my room why don't you??
A sense of forgetfulness creeped into
The corners of her mind;
Until it came to her.
Those forest green eyes.
Not even realizing she was smiling,
She plugged her iPod into the small
Speakers in her room
And started singing as she got ready.
Her parents were gone at work
At 4 AM.
She was glad;
She quite enjoyed watching the sun
Slowly rise in the early mornings
Alone.
Only today did she wish a certain someone
Could join her.
Today is the day I get to lose myself in those beautiful green eyes. Hell might be a nice place after all.
