Time seemed to turn into
Quicksand as Nick attempted to approach
The beautiful girl with the
Mesmerizing eyes.
He could see a brightness in them, a glint
That exposed her depth;
She had layers upon layers of thoughts,
Ideas,
Opinions.
Yet she kept them all to herself;
Preferring to remain in the safety of the sanctuary within her mind...
After what felt like an
Eternity, he reached her. He surveyed
Her beautiful eyes that held
So much knowledge
And said, barley above a whisper
"Hi."
She smiled,
And he glimpsed a flash of
Childish mischief in those eyes
As she returned his greeting.

It was such a strange sensation to her
To feel so connected to someone
Whose name you don't even know...
He had stuttered out a simple
"Your eyes are beautiful."
Just four words;
Barely even above a whisper..
Yet her insides fluttered and
She thought she was dying of a heat stroke
From the way she was blushing so
brilliantly..
She knew it was so much deeper
Than it seemed.
So much more than a fly away
Complement;
She knew it was the start
Of something
Stunningly marvelous.
Just standing next to him made her
Heart feel as if it were
Expanding;
Filling to burst with euphoria,
Elation,
Exhilaration.
He helped her timid and fogged mind
Become clear, alert, focused.
Just thinking of him made a
Blush creep up her neck
And a lively smile dance daintily across
Her already rosy face.
She felt herself slowly falling for
This random stranger
And didn't even try to struggle against the force of
Gravity.
He was slowly but surely drawing her to him
And it was a matter of time before they
Collided.
