Date night

Ninas POV

I woke up to the bright sunlight peaking through the blinds in Paul and i's room. I rolled over to were he was sleeping and smiled, a little too long but not enough for him to notice. I smiled at this man that I use to love with all of my heart, but now I can't remember why. My heart wants me to remember but my mind won't let me, and that's all I want right now.

Paul slowly opened his eyes. I quickly turned around so it didn't seem like I was starring.

"You know I saw you right?" Paul laughed

My face turned a bright red. I wasn't use to our relationship so I wasn't sure what to do, I'm just so lost.

"Oh sorry" I stuttered and pulled a laugh.

"Don't be shy around me! I love you Nina you never have to be shy" he said and kissed my cheek.

"Ok I won't, I promise" I smiled then got out of bed

"Hey why don't we have a date night so I can tell you everything you've missed or anything you would like to know" Paul said

"I would love that" I said with a smile.

Paul left to book a place in a restaurant that I supposedly loved.Once he left I got in the shower and quickly get dressed.

I put on a black dress that ended a bit above my knees. the back of my dress had a cutout with lace on it. I paired the dress with nude heels.

Paul's POV

I made the reservations at Nina's favorite fancy restaurant. I had on a very dark purple tux with a lighter purple tie, it use to be Ninas favorite so why not.

I drove back to the place to pick up Nina.

I arrived and saw her waiting. She looked absolutely stunning, my mouth dropped as I saw her walking to the car.

"You look quite handsome" she said with a huge smile.

"Well you look absolutely stunning my love" I said

We arrived at the restaurant and sat dow at out table.

"Wow this place is beautiful" Nina said while looking around.

"You use to love it here" I smiled

"I hope it didn't cost a lot" she whispered

"No no it's fine"

We quickly ordered our meals so that we could get to the talking.
We sat there in silence for a bit until Nina broke the silence.

"Paul?" Nina asked

"Yeah" I answered

"Are we...umm...married?" She asked

"Well umm no we aren't sorry" I answered not knowing what to say.

"It's ok, it's just that everyone says that we were so in love" she said

"We were..I mean are its just we've had our ups and downs" I said

"Yeah I get it" she said and put her head down to her food

"I would love to marry you one day though Nina" I said with a smile and she just smiled back.

We ate our food, Nina asked me questions about her life but I couldn't get the thought about marriage out of my head.

After dinner we drove back to the house full and tired form the dinner.

We both went straight upstairs to the room and changed into some comfortable clothes as soon as we arrived.

We both crashed into the bed as we laid there.

I was half asleep until I heard a small voice whisper my name.

"Paul..." She whispered

"Yea" I answered

"I know I don't remember enough to say this but I know il never regret it..i never answered what you said during dinner today" she said

"Ok"

"I would love to marry you someday too" she smiled then kissed my cheek. "Night" she turned around and went to bed

I layed there trying to presses what Nina just said. she hasn't even known me for a month and she was already talking about marriage, I must be doing something right.
