Chapter 1: Attention

Eddie was sitting on the couch, his mother Sonia Kaspbrak was blabbing about how She didn't want him outside without her. Of course he didn't want to do that but he did. He was a mommy's boy, so- you can except much from him.

Sonia continued snapping at him "Eddie-Bear! You can't go out. I need to make sure you're safe!" Eddie stared at her, pacing back and forth in the living room. "But Mommy.. What about if I hangout at Billy's place? I'll be okay there!" He smiled hoping she'd accept. Sonia scoffed "I hate his parents, but if you two are friends. I guess so- Run along than. Call me when you get back!" Eddie smiled, he stood up running out the door "Yes Mommy!" He closed the door behind him hopping onto his bike. He started riding down to Bill's but decided to go to Richie's. Once he got there he looked over at the window, it was shattered. Pieces of glass were everywhere you could look at in that area. He gulped slightly and knocked on the door. Richie's mom poked her head out the window looking at him, her hand also hung out holding a cigarette. "Who are you-? Actually don't answer that, I don't care." She called for Richie "Richard! Some kid is here for you-" She pulled her head back inside. Richie opened the door, looking at Eddie "Eds? What are you doing here." He closed the door behind him as he stepped outside.

Eddie looked up at him, his soft fluffy hair, his small little freckles.. Richie made Eddie melt just by a simple glance. He shook his head "I wanna hangout! And uh what happened here? You okay?" He asked. Richie grabbed him by the wrist pulling him outside by the driveway "I got into a fight with my mother, Blah blah blah- she threw a cup at the window trying to get me all hinged up" he shrugged like it was normal "but yeah. I'm fine, no need to worry Baby" he gave Eddie a small kiss. Eddie smiled "I- I love you!" Richie nodded "Yeah whatever" he licked his lips "Edward? You wanna go beat the shit out of Street Fighter?" Eddie paused, frowning slightly but quickly turned it to a smile "O-of course!"

Richie and Eddie walked down to the arcade, Richie was playing street fighter as Eddie we're watching him. "Goddamnit This computer sucks ass!" He slammed the coins on the machine. He walked over to Eddie and scoffed "I hat-" Eddie cut him off with a kiss hopefully calming him down "What the hell!" Two kids looked over at them, jaws wide open "Holy shit." Richie pushed Eddie into the wall "What the fuck was that! You faggot!" He yelled upset. Eddie yelped "I- Ric-" Richie slapped him "Go. Away." He walked away going back home.
