The Mistake

Rex Jackson was watching his favorite tv show a.k.a. Cold Case when the  phone rang. He just decided to let it ring. Probably just some prank call, Rex thought.  The phone rang a second time but Rex ignored it again. But the third time it rang he gave in and answered it.

"Who the heck is this calling me when I am in the middle of watching a very important tv show?"Rex screamed into the phone. There was no sound on the other end so Rex was just about to hang up until a strange voice started speaking.

"He told you didn't he," the voice said.

"Who told me what?"Rex asked, starting to get a little frightened. 

"It didn't have to be this way but your stupid friend told you something that he shouldn't have," the voice replied.

"Listen dude. I don't know who you are but I am a black belt at Tae kwon Do so you don't want to........," the mystery man hung up before Rex could even finish his sentence.

"Yep just a prank call, " he said quietly to himself.  He walked into the kitchen to make some popcorn but when he came back into the living room he saw a folded piece of paper in the spot he was just sitting at. He walked over to investigate it. There was a not on it and it said- 

AS I SAID ON THE PHONE, IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO END LIKE THIS FOR YOU. NOW CAN YOU PLEASE DO ME A HUGE FAVOR A TURN AROUND!

Rex turned around and before he knew it he was hit upside the head with god knows what and then it all went dark.

I was about to go to bed but I couldn't stop thinking about wether I should go to the party or not. I heard my phone make a noise and I realized that I just got a text from Evan saying that he found a strange not on his bed. I texted him back asking what it said and he replied back, telling me that it said " Your friend made a very bad mistake today."

          Then I remembered today at school I told I don't know how many people about what happened yesterday. Why do I always make such stupid mistakes?  Oh why should I worry. Nothing is going to happen...........I hope.
