She is innocence. She is purity. She is beauty. It took him too long to see it. Too long chasing down an infatuation. And she adored him.
"Fitz," Linh muttered into his shirt. "Why do you love me?"
"Because you're innocent. You remind me how to be my best self, and that allows me to love you more," he answered.
"I just want you to be happy," she sighed, then snuggled back into his chest and fell asleep.
