Edaline's simple chiffon wedding dress draped gracefully over her petite figure, her auburn hair contrasting beautifully with the white. Grady was in awe of her. After years of waiting, no woman had held his attention quite like Edaline.
"I, Grady Ruewen, promise to take thee, Edaline Waelen to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; and thereto I pledge thee my faith."
Edaline repeated the vow to him.
"You may kiss the bride."
And Grady kissed her, sealing his promise.
