Hey guys. This is a story that is an epilogue of the short story of one of the books of the series 'The Medoran Chronicles' called Happy Kaldoras Christmas. If you haven't read it yet please do since it is very good and is like a story about a kaldoras after the big war. Also I'm currently trying to improve on my writing so if you guys have any ideas or tips to make my writing better please feel free to comment it down it would be a huge help.

I sit on my bed relishing myself in yet another memory, this one being one of a Kaiden's. It was soon becoming my favourite as yet again the memory Kaiden said to memory Declan how he would wait for me until I was ready. It was amazing really, the present Kaiden had gotten for me something I wouldn't have believed was possible if I was still living my miserable life in Freya. A lot of things have happened since my arrival in Medora some good some bad nonetheless things that have led me to being here right now. I used to believe that it was all my fault. That I was the reason that Aven turned into a monster. I probably still am the reason, but I have come to learn that dwelling on the past isn't going to help anyone and it's definitely not going to bring them back.

I'm taken out of my thoughts when there is a soft knock on the door. I open it to see a smiling Kaiden on the other side with two Myrox lined jackets (a gift from the Merayns who were very happy now that Xira and the other Dreakons had come back).

Kaiden hands me one of them while leaning down to gently press his lips against mine. I deepen the kiss taking all of my earlier emotions out leaving me with a strange sense of bliss.

"Ugh!" I hear Xira say mentally.

"If I have to see you guys make out one more time I'm gonna barf" he says out loud his thundering voice echoing around the room from the balcony.

I pull away flustered my face turning tomato red panting from the earlier exhilaration.

"We weren't making out Xira" I grumble while Kaiden just chuckles and drapes one of tanned muscular arm over my shoulder.

"Come on," he said. "We don't want to be late now do we." mirth covering his words.

With all that's been going on in my head I almost forgot my worries of going to the Kaldoras party at Bears house this year. There was just so many people not going to be there. So many people being victim to the Great War. So many people ... dead. Sensing my distress Kaiden squeezes my shoulder in comfort as we secure ourselves between Xira's wings.

There would have been many ways to get to Bear's cottage. Like having Sorya shadow walk us or using a bubble door. Those options probably would have been better for this cold weather too, but there is something that's so freeing and calm when Xira takes flight like all of my problems just evaporate into mist.
