Meeting a new Meta

While running through the city I could tell that Wally nor my dad can sense that I was racing with them. And all I could here was Cisco telling everyone what was going on. "At the first marker, 1/3 of the way in, Flash is in the lead- or is that Kid Flash? Wait I see a new competitor coming in to this race." -Cisco

"Kid Flash!" -H.R.

"I think he's done this before." -Iris

"Second marker Wally's in the lead." -Cisco

H.R. was very confident in Wally now so he had decided to double his betting amount.

"Hey look at that our surprise competitor is in the lead now." -Cisco

"Guys they're all tied." -Iris

"Almost at the finish line." -Caitlin

As I hear everyone talking I notice the building up ahead so I phase through it and I could tell my dad had the same idea. I knew Wally couldn't phase yet so I assumed that he ran up the building. I then hear Caitlin tell who ever betted to pay her cause she won.

"Come on that doesn't count I can't phase yet." Wally said with a whine. "But you just saw us do it, didn't you?" -I said. "You have to face any obstacle that's in your path." Said my dad trying to teach Wally something. I knew this cause I was taught the same thing but still never knew the meaning to it.

"Well don't worry guys soon I'll be faster, faster than both of you." He said determined to become a great hero. "Oh yeah?" dad and I said at the same time.

~Le Time skip~

Grandpa and my parents got a call from work and left leaving me, Caitlin, Cisco and H.R. here in Star Labs. "Um h-hey guys? I need to tell you something and you can't tell my family about it at all" I said in an unsure but serious tone.

From the sound of my voice they could tell something was wrong "After my mom dies... s-something is going to h-happen to me during my m-mission." Looking at them told me that they were concerned and shocked. A strained smile appeared on their faces.

 I knew they thought I was joking. "Your joking right?" Cisco asked me with a small laugh. I shook my head covering my face with my hair. "Shouldn't we tell your family about this?" asked Caitlin. 

"Yeah B.A. won't like that your keeping secrets from him." said H.R. with a concerned voice. "No, don't tell them especially my dad." I said "I-I don't need him to stress he's already worried enough as it is. If he finds out that something is going to happen to me next, especially if it's during my mission." I continued. 

"He'll be destroyed and not only I know that he won't let me leave his side until this is over but I have a mission to complete even if I die doing it! I cried out. "It's better this way... I have to go see you guys later, and please. Don't tell him anything." I whispered. 

~Le Time Skip~

I was watching as Wally was trying to run past the wall. My dad started to explain to Wally what he does when phasing. I was starting to zone out, I thought about what was going to happen to my dad.

"n...y/n...Y/n?" my dad called me. "Yeah? What's up." I answered back how long was he calling me for did I really zone out for that long. "I was going to tell you that tomorrow we're going to meet Cecile's daughter tomorrow are you free? he asked me. 

"Yeah, but dad I'm actually going to go home tomorrow." I told him this that wat he didn't worry that I was gone. "Why?" "Oh I forgot to tell you that I start my mission tomorrow. But don't worry I'll come visit after the internships are over." I reassured him.
