kunimi sat at the bench outside with kindaichi, eating his lunch in peace. he liked to eat outside because no one bothered him.

it was nice to look at the nature; trees blowing in the cool wind, the fall colored leaves on the ground, and only a few students that walked and loitered around the courtyard.

"hey," kunimi stated, looking at his onion-headed friend. "you know y/n l/n, her friend-"

"woah, i thought you weren't interested in y/n l/n." kindaichi stated, mocking kunimi. his annoyed friend looked at him deadpan before rolling his eyes and brushing off his comment.

"anyway," he started. "her friend, zoe, is interested in you." kindaichi about choked, coughing a few times to get the food back up so he could swallow it correctly.

"in me?" he asked after a few seconds. kunimi nodded, unamused as usual. "why me?"

"i don't fuckin' know, ask her yourself." kunimi shrugged.

"okay, because here they come."

y/n and zoe walked outside; zoe immediately spotting kindaichi and kunimi. kindaichi was already looking at them as kunimi's back was turned.

"c'mon bitch!" zoe stated, grabbing y/n's wrist and pulling her towards kunimi's table.

zoe walked around, sitting beside kindaichi and in front of kunimi. y/n groaning internally, giving her blue haired friend a glare before sitting beside the wing spiker.

"are you a virgin?" zoe asked quickly. y/n groaned, putting her head in her hands. she started to wonder why she even made this deal in the first place.

"what?" kunimi asked, clear shock written on his face. why was the question being asked? why was it even a topic to discuss?

"just answer." zoe exclaimed, deadpan. they were always very blunt, and never really cared or brought into consideration anyone else's feelings.

"yeah?" kunimi answered, eating his lunch. y/n sighed dramatically, pulling out a $20 bill.

"hand it over hoe." zoe smiled triumphantly. she grabbed the $20 from y/n's hands, smiling at her bestfriend.

"why was-"

"don't ask." y/n stated quickly, cutting off kunimi in the process. he mentally questioned it, sighing and thinking it was best to just leave it be.
