Today's the day.

The day I marry the man of my dreams... Joshua David Evans.

We've been engaged for what feels like ages and today it's finally going to happen! Rachel just picked me up and we're heading to the venue! The dress was laying across the seats in the back and Teeny was doing my hair and makeup! I was so excited!!!

We pulled into the parking lot at the private beach and I hopped out of the car. It smelled like home.

We were back in Santa Barbara, my hometown so everyone could be at the wedding! Our friend Wendy who had just finished designing the interior of our house, decorated the wedding for us!

A frame was sitting in the sand and was draped with light blue silk. There were shells lining the aisle and creating a circle around the spot me and Josh would stand and say our vows. There were twinkly lights lining the frame and white chairs, about 50, in rows going up the beach. It all took my breath away!

"Come on Colleen!" Rachel yelled.

I hurried after her towards the tents designated for us to get ready.

"Colleen!!! I'm so excited for you!!!" Christina ran up to me and hugged me until I felt my insides turning to dust.

"I am to!"

Teeny grabbed my wrist and pulled me to sit down. She ended up pinning my hair up in a braid that wrapped around my head. She did a light colored natural makeup look and I looked in the mirror and gasped.

"Christina! This is amazing!!!"

"I try!" She flipped her hair over her shoulder dramatically.

I slipped on my dress that was a princess ball gown. It was puffy at the waist and was covered in jewels at the top. I looked in the mirror and started to cry.

"Don't ruin your makeup Colleen!" Rachel screamed.

I started giggling at her comment.

The wedding started in 5 minutes...

"Are you ready Colleen?"

"Of course!" I shouted.

May the show begin!
