Ooh guys new chapter ahead!!! I worked super hard on this chapter so I really hope you like it! And thanks so much for 2.5k reads?! You guys are awesome💖

(1 month later)

"Come on Josh we have to go!"

"I'm coming just a second! Gotta do my weave!"

"Joshua David Evans do you want to be late to find out if our daughter has been treated or not?! This isn't exactly fun and games!"

"Fine, fine, I'm coming!"

I walked out the door with Mae perched on my hip. Her hair was already growing and was pulled up into a baby ponytail on the top of her head. She was wearing a yellow romper that was loose against her tiny frame and a white bow in front of her ponytail... You could say I had fun dressing her up this morning.

Lucky for her... She had not lost much hair during treatment but instead she got paler for some reason.

I set Mae in her car seat and snapped her seat belt into place. I slid into the drivers seat in front of her.
The twins were in the back seats and were munching on toast, crumbs spilling everywhere. Dang I'm gonna have to clean that up later, I thought.

"Joshua! Hurry up slow poke!" He was taking forever!

He ran out the door with roses in his hand and a pink SnapBack on.

"Sorry had to get roses for my beautiful wife." He apologized.

"JOSHUA! Thank you baby," I teared up. I'm probably just emotional because of all that happened. He's the sweetest.

It smelled like alcohol and plastic in here. I hated the hospital with a passion. Babies crying, phones ringing, adults yelling, and people constantly talking.

Especially in the cancer wing. Mothers and fathers come out crying with their kids in their arms, with no hair. Nurses come out with clipboards saying they have news with sorrowful looks on their faces. It was pure torture.

"Mr. And Mrs. Evans please!" A nurse with bright eyes and a welcoming smile came out of the office. She's the first happy nurse I've seen in a while... Must be new to the job! I thought.

She led us into a small, bright, and colorful room with stuffed animals layed out on the table. I set Mae down there, assuming that's where the kids sat and took my seat across from her in an orange plush seat. This room looks way to happy to be in the cancer wing of a hospital, I thought to myself.

"Mr. And Mrs. Evans!" She greeted shaking mine and Josh's hand, "I do have some news to tell you that I assume you've come to hear." She giggled to herself.

"Yes of course,"

"Well," she said, her face falling serious, "your daughter has in fact been cured!"

We were at sushi. Again.

And you wouldn't believe who our waitress was...

Mae.
