Shotaro heaved out a sigh as he sat beside me.

"You okay?" I raised a brow, making Jeno and Jaemin turn to look at us.

"I just got called to the student council office..." He mumbled resting his head on the table. "Jungwon's expecting me to get better in lessons..."

"He really wants us to become like our alumni, huh?" Jaemin frowned.

"What? That doesn't make sense." I furrowed my brows. "Jangmi and Kiyeon didn't even try to do well."

"Jangmi is naturally smart." Jeno pointed out. "Kiyeon's average and doesn't try."

"What now?" Shotaro huffed. "Jungwon's expecting my average to be eighty-five above by next month or else I'll be expelled..."

"Well, I could tutor you..." I trailed off. Shotaro immediately glanced at me, blinking a few times. "I mean, I'm not the best when it comes to lessons, but I'll try my best to help."

"Are you sure?" Shotaro raised a brow.

"I mean, yeah." I shrugged. "Besides, it would mean that I'll be forced to study too, so in a way, it's a win-win situation."

"Well, I won't turn down the offer." Shotaro smiled. "Thank you."

"Is Saturday at your place good?"

"Yeah, it's fine."

"So... Is this a study date?" Jeno raised a brow.

"D-date?!" My eyes widened. "We're not a thing! Why would it be a date?!"

"Actually, Park Jiyeong," Jaemin whipped out his phone. "A date is a social OR romantic appointment, meaning that you don't have to be a thing to have a date."

"Well... I mean, I..."

I glanced at Shotaro, who looked somewhat confused.

"... Yeah, okay. Whatever." I sighed.

That Saturday, I came to Shotaro's place and we went through our notes and did some practices together.

I came to a conclusion that his problem was not fully understanding the language, so I noted down some words for him to remember. Asides that, he managed to answer the questions well, only asking what some words mean.

He was probably gonna score higher scores than me.

"I don't underatand Jungwon." I shook my head. "You're... You're actually good at this stuff."

"Are you just trying to make me feel better?" Shotaro chuckled, taking a sip of the bubble tea we ordered earlier.

"What?! No! I mean it!" I laughed. "If you want me to be blunt, then you're not the best, but you're still good."

"Uh, okay." Shotaro chuckled. "I'm gonna go get some more candy. Do you want any?"

"Sure, thanks." I grinned. Shotaro stood up and just as he left, his phone buzzed, and turned on, showing some messages he got.
