Adeline POV
I sat in 4th period in the back row. The teacher told me I would have to sit there for now until they could get me a better seat.
I didn't really listen to the teacher I sat at my desk and drew.
When the teacher stopped talking I looked up to see a boy with black hair and dark eyes coming into the room.
Tattoos covered his arms and he wore a t-shirt and jeans.
He reminded me of Harry, such a badass.
The boy took a look around the room and then the teacher.
"Mr. Malik, your late, take the seat in the back by Miss Rouge." The teacher explained to him.
The boy nodded and headed over and sat down next to me, great.
I have to admit, I like bad boys, but some just creep me out, like this one.
The way he looks at people makes me want to shiver.
"My names Zayn." The boy whispered to me in a deep voice.
"You must be the new girl, right? Adeline?" He asked smirking slightly in a hushed tone.
I nodded quietly and then returned to my drawing.
"Nice drawing." He mumbled.
This boy was freaking me out. What's with all the comments?
"Thanks." I whispered as I kept sketching a pattern that was in a circle.
It really wasn't that interesting but I guess it was alright.
Zayn got out a piece of paper and began to take notes.
Then he slid his notes to me, but then I realized that these weren't school notes, he was sending me a note.
"What are you up to on Friday night?" Zayn had etched on the paper.
"Nothing, why?" I responded and slid it to him.
"Party, at my friends house, feel free to come." Zayn wrote and he had the address on the paper as well with his phone number.
I folded the paper and put it in my pocket, not really bothering to answer him.
I ran my fingers through my long hair before looking out the window to see trees swaying.
The bell rang excused me from class and off to the next. I scooped up my supplies and walked calmly out of the classroom.
-At home-
I wasn't sure if I should go to the party or not. It doesn't seem like a good idea since I know literally three people in this school.
My population of friends is a total amount of 0. My population of potential boyfriends was 2, so far. If you see where I'm coming from.
I could date Harry or Zayn, they are hot, nice and seem respectable enough.
I wonder what Callie's problem is, she practically flicked me off as she walked away with that sneer on her face.
I wasn't going to really ask why she was such a bitch because it wasn't my information to know.
I sat down on my bed eating some popcorn I got as a snack. It's about 5:00 and I'm just totally done for today.
I mean it was pretty interesting but it sucked, so, I hope tomorrow is better.
At the same time I'm attempting to weigh the pros and cons of going to the party.
I have a lot of cons. For example; I know nobody, Harry did something and he is bound to be there, If Callie was there she would probably just ignore. Some more consist of getting drunk and men.
My pros consist of; I could get a boyfriend, I would probably relax and meet some new friends, that's all I really can think of though.
I have no idea if I should go.
By the end of the night I have my decision. I pick up my phone and then scramble trying to find the note.
I dial Zayn's number slowly making sure it was right.
The rings were making me nervous.
"Hey it's Zayn, Adeline right?" His husky voice said on the other line of the phone.
I suppose he has called ID if he knows it's me.
Then I decide to tell him.
"I will be there."
