Adeline POV

I laid in bed listening to music as I stared at the ceiling still thinking about this party.

I know I said yes to going but I'm not sure about how it will go.

I have two more hours and I have to be at the front door of Zayn's friends house.

I don't know what kind of party it is and I don't know what to wear, or what to tell me mom so I can go.

So I'm just going think it out for a few more minutes.

I'm thinking about just wearing skinny jeans and a tank top, like normal.

I push myself up from my bed and walk to my dresser to change quickly. I added some vans to my feet and then walked into my bathroom.

I decided to just straighten my hair and add some makeup. I added my earrings to finalize the look.

I smoothed out my shirt that was white with a quote on it and grabbed my phone seeing I had a text from Zayn.

I clicked on it to read it.

"Meet you at the front door." The text said with a smiley face on the end.

It sort of creeped me out but I just ignored it and put it back into my pocket.

I walked towards my bedroom door and then whisked down the stairs.

"Where are you going Adeline?" My mom yelled as I grabbed my car keys.

I was trying to be quiet but I see that failed.

"My friend and I are going shopping for a while." I told her thinking of a lie quickly.

"Okay be back by 11 at the latest." My mother called as I opened the front door.

After driving for what felt like miles I pulled up to his friends house to hear music and cars parked everywhere.

I found a spot for my car and then began to walk towards the front door.

I was getting queasy as I approached but I made it alright.

I opened the door a little to see Zayn standing there with a cup in his hand.

The music was burning my ears but I ignored it.

"Hey." I told him. He smirked and said hey back as we walked farther into the house.

"Who's house is this?" I asked him, I was curious.

"My friend Louis." Zayn murmured before taking a sip of his drink.

I felt a cup get pushed into my hand. I really didn't drink, but it wouldn't kill me to have a few sips.

I pulled it up to my lips and put a little in my mouth. It burnt against my throat but I didn't hate the feeling.

I walked away from Zayn, I decided to scope out the area like some kind of creep.

I spotted Harry and made my way towards him. I want to ask him about Callie. He knows something.

"Hey, Harry right?" I say as I look up at him.

"Yeah, new girl, correct?" He responded.

"Adeline." I clarified.

"Oh yes." Harry told me.

"Can I ask you something about Callie?" I asked Harry. His face went from happy to stressed.

He ran his hand through his hair.

"Why do you want to know about Callie? She is just a girl." He hissed at me sounding frustrated now.

I wanted to know though, so I continued.

"Why does she hate you so much? She told me to stay away from you." I told him.

"Shit." Harry whispered under his breath.

"What?" I asked sternly.

"Callie. Callie is just a silly girl, I wouldn't talk to her, she isn't trustworthy." He responded looking really angry.

"She told me you are not trustworthy. Now who do I believe?" I asked him raising my voice.

I probably shouldn't of brought it up but of course I did.

Harry looked so ticked off. "Leave me the hell alone, Adeline." Harry said stalking off into the crowd.

Well that wasn't nice.

I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around to see a brown haired boy with light eyes. He had an eyebrow piercing and looked at me ridiculously.

"I'm Louis." The boy explained.

So he must be the person that owns the house.

"Want to know about Callie?" He asked.

I nodded quickly and he grabbed my wrist and brought me to an empty room.

What is he doing? He is going to rape me isn't he? This wasn't a good idea.

"Zayn raped Callie last year. Harry helped fool Callie to believe Zayn was good. Callie got pregnant and put her baby up for adoption. Her cousin adopted her baby and she never saw her son again." Louis explained softly.

This took my brain a few moments to understand.

"What?" I squeaked.

I stormed towards the door of the room and ran out dialing Callie's number. She had given it to me before I ran into Harry on Monday.

I shoved through people and onto the front porch where a few people were making out.

"Hello, it's Callie, may I ask who is speaking?" A high pitched voice said through my phone.

"It's Adeline, Louis told me what happened. I'm so sorry." I told her with a panicky voice.

The silence on the other side was almost unbearable.

"Where are you?" She asked quickly.

"Louis house." I blurted.

"I'm coming over. I'm going to deal with this." Callie said hanging up.

What just happened?
