4 weeks later, location unknown, 8:37 a.m.

Y/n's Point of View

As I kept lowering my body with each pushup, my hearing was becoming a bit faint, though I stopped just in time for my phone to ring.

I look at the unknown number and answer, hoping to mess with the possible telemarketer. "Dad, how much cocaine do you need?"

"Me? ... I don't need any. Is this Y/n?" The muffled voice of a woman asked.

"Yeah, you know who it is, dad. Now how much do you need?"

The voice talked to someone else, then I hear something that sounds like wind. "This is Six, we are not your father. I have been informed of your actions and have a job offer."

I drop my smile and clear my throat, drinking some water. "Oh, I apologize... What is the job offer, might I ask?"

"Well, I can't tell you, since it might be intercepted by hackers, and we don't have a secure line. I would like to fly you out to Brighton, in the United Kingdom. There, I will have one of my ops talk to you." The male said on the line.

I walk over to my kitchen, checking my calender for any important dates and times. I hum over the line.

"Does somewhere around tomorrow to Friday next week work in your schedule?"

"All times are welcome, just don't waste ours and I might spare you from endless calls." A now female voice commented. "So, I have booked a flight for one of pilots to fly you out. Have a great day, Cohen."

The voice chuckled, ending the call. I stood still like an idiot, wondering what the hell just happened and why I am being offered a job.

---- Approx. 15 hours after the call, 12:02 A.M.----

The same unknown number called me as I soon as I was closing my eyes. I grumble, answering it.

"We'll pick you up right now. Dokkaebi out!" The 'Dokkaebi' character giggled, hanging up immediately.

I lay back on my bed, sighing before getting up and dressing in something warm. This was going to be a long night.

After about thirty minutes of packing, a helicopter's blades quieted, and parked along the hill. Out came a girl with a beanie and the 'Iana' girl from weeks ago. I open the door as the Asian girl knocked, holding a bag.

"Look who's up, it's Y/n." She smiled, the voice becoming clear that she was Dokkaebi. "Follow us, I'm sure you met Iana earlier."

I nod, yawning and following cautiously, setting my stuff on the floor. Dokkaebi and Iana got in the back with me, Dokkaebi closing the door and banging on the metal.

"There's a bed in the back. We'll be sure to be quiet." Dokkaebi giggled, taking a tablet off of her chest.

"Thanks." I grunt, laying on the bed and passing out. After what felt like mere minutes, I was woken up by Dokkaebi. "Already here?"

She nods, lifting my bags and then me. "Yeah. We can't fly you farther without looking suspicious, so we're going to drop you off here. Iana will drive you."

Iana looked up from her phone, humming. That's when I notice that she was lighter than I thought, and she has piercing grey eyes. I thought she was one of those girls that like changing the color of their hair, but no, she is Albino.

"Oh, um, come with me... I guess." She hit Dokkaebi's shoulder, hopping off. "Uh, leave your bag! I don't know why you brought it, though."

I shrug, getting off and stretching. There it was, Brighton. "Hmm, it's quiet here. I like quiet." I comment, walking with Iana. "What is your real name?"

"I'm sorry, I can't tell you at the moment. So, it's Iana for now." She smiles, walking further in the city. "Uh... Ah! There."

She pointed to a building, which was a small restaurant. We walk up the stairs, hitting the roof, which was packed with people. Iana sits down at a table near a redhead, but it was common to see them.

I park my butt in the seat across from her and grab a menu. "So... Why am I here?"

"We want to recruit you to the best counter-terrorist organization." Iana slides me an envelope with a 6 printed on it, a pistol being the gap. "Rainbow Six. We've uncovered your files, which were... eh... interesting, to say the least."

I nod, looking at the letter. "And why me?"

"This kid..." Someone said, but quieted down.

Iana laughs quietly. "Well, you have proven to be great in both search and rescue, and counter-terrorism. You will be stationed in a remote part of Herefordshire, where you will work. Luckily our enemies are very slow, so we can travel the world with ease."

As I read over the same logo of the team, I was confused. These guys are friendlies. Did our target have something to do with all these terrorists.

"Cohen." Iana says, snapping me out of my concentration. "We want you to join, but if you don't want to, that is fine. The threat is-"

"I'm in... How'd you know my last name?"

"Oh, from your files. And that's great! I will have someone to talk to you about the job, most likely Six, who you have talked to... And me about the 'cocaine' your father 'needed'."

A soft scoff was audible. "Idiot." The same female voice said.

Iana and I stare at each other, confused on what to do now. I know she isn't experienced in this kind of stuff, but she looks kinda cute when she's lost.

"You're gonna be sent out tomorrow, I believe. It's on such a short notice, but we need the help. You gotta run fast to make it work." Iana said while looking at her phone. "Man, I'm so sorry, I have never done this kind of stuff. I'm most comfortable in a spaceship."

"Mmm? You're an astronaut?" I ask, receiving a nod. "Makes sense... Is there some people I know?"

Iana leans back in her chair, humming. "Let me think... Sébastien and Tina, I believe. I was only told about this yesterday, sorry."

The waiter brought us some food. He set down a favorite of mine, a croquette monsieur, which I didn't even order. Neither of us ordered.

"Oh, a wonderful choice." Iana cheered. "Did we order?"

I shake my head, wondering who ordered for us. "No.. But, I am hungry, so I'm gonna take a bite."

Iana giggled, and we each our unexpected lunch. She nodded to someone, so I nod back, making her laugh.

"Sorry, I saw a friend. That was pretty cute, Y/n." She said, smiling. "I think that concludes our little conversation."

"Aww, but I was just getting to know you. You're pretty, and I know I'll get my ass kicked if I hang around you for a while."

Iana blushed, smiling brightly. "Oh, no, no, no! I'm not dating anyone! But that was very flattering, I must say."

I laugh. We have a good rest of the afternoon before I leave for home again. My life was going faster than I thought, and I haven't even had an argument with my birth parents! What an accomplishment.
