Ashton Imagine 1⃣

At Starbucks.
{y/b/f = your best friend}
{y/n = your name}

"...who even says that? To someone's face?" y/b/f finishes off her story. You shrug, staring out the window. y/b/f laughs. "You were never much of a gossip, were you? Never mind. I'm starving." She stands, presumably to order food. "Want something?" You shake your head and take a sip of your iced coffee. y/b/f walks to the counter. You look down at your drink. It's almost finished, but there's still foam at the bottom. You get up to find a spoon.
You're walking back to your table when all of a sudden, someone collides into you. A cold liquid splashes onto your clothes, and you drop your spoon. "Oh, fuck! I'm so sorry. Let me help-" Says a medium height, curly haired boy. He bends down to pick up your spoon. As he hands it to you, you catch his eye. He smiles. "I'm y/n," you say, not looking away. "Y/n. My name's Ashton." You nod. "Well, Ashton, I'm really sorry about your drink. I could buy a new one, if you wanted..." He looks shocked, almost offended. "Definitely not. It was my fault! Here - I'll give you money for a new top." He walks back to his table, and fumbles around for a minute or two. Getting money, you assume. He returns to you with $30, and presses it into your palm. You try to give it back, but he shakes his head. Looking into your eyes, he lowers his voice and says, "I don't care how much it was. I'm giving you $30." He drops his hand, and takes a step backwards. "See you 'round, y/n!" He grins. You wave, a weird, nervous wave, and walk back to your table. "Smooth, y/n," y/b/f giggles. "Real smooth." You roll your eyes and look down at the money in your hand. Looking closely, you realise it isn't just cash. There's a note curled inside the money. You take it out and read it to yourself. 'Bit of a cliche way to meet, but I'd really like to see you sometime, y/n. I'd be over the moon if you called me. -Ash xx
PS: You forgot your spoon.'
A phone number followed his name, and a spoon was taped to the back of the paper. You smiled to yourself and tucked it into your pocket.
