The story starts when Daksh creates misunderstandings between Annika and Shivaay. He tells shivaay that Annika spent a night with him and asked for 15lacs in return.
This is a story of how they fall in love after facing so many challenges.

Both the girls managed to arrange everything perfectly, everyone was out in the garden waiting to start the pooja. All the couples, including RiKara and Shivika, took rounds around the fire while throwing in peanuts, popcorn and rewari. Later some dholwale came and started playing the drums. Gauri was distributing the prasad, her dupatta was very close to the bonfire. Om pulled her towards himself before it could catch on fire. She collided with his chest

He let her go, his gestures, his care were slowly creating a place for him in her heart. Omkara wondered why he panicked so much when he thought she was in trouble.
Everyone was enjoying themselves. Shivaay couldn't stop himself from checking out Annika again and again. At one such instance, he noticed a red dot on her. On looking at the direction of the dot, he realised it was a sniper gun. He panicked and ran to save her. A gun shot was heard.
S: Annikaaaaaa
Shivaay held her in his arms and both of them fell on the ground. He took a bullet for her.
Shivaay was critical as the bullet hit him in the chest and his heart condition was making his chances for survival extremely hard.
Doctor: operation to ho gya lekin agar agle 2 ghante me inhe hosh nhi aaya to hum kuch nhi kar payenge, unka heart continuously sink kar rha hai. I'm not sure vo recover kar paynge {{ operation is successful but if he doesn't come around in the next 2 hours then we won't be able to save him. His heart is continuously sinking. I'm not sure he can recover }}
Pinky: Aise kaise bol sakte hai aap, mere shivaay ko kuch nahi hona chahiye doctor, mera shivaay {{ how can you say that, nothing should happen to my shivaay doctor, my shivaay }}
She broke down sobbing.
Jhanvi: Pinky sambhalo khud ko, kuch nahi hoga Shivaay ko, humare sabhi bacho me se sabse strong hai vo {{ pinky control yourself, shivaay will be alright, he's the strongest among all our kids }}

Annika was sitting on the floor in a corner. Her clothes were covered in blood, HIS blood. Tears were running down her face nonstop. One moment was replaying continuously in her mind. He took a bullet for her. She was having a meltdown

Om was proud of his baby brother, he was handling Annika so well. He hugged both of them

Hey guys, I know this incident happened in the show but please be patient. Unlike the show, Pinky doesn't hate Annika, she isn't happy with this marriage because she wants the best for her son. There are no misunderstandings between Pinky and Annika, so she won't throw her out. What happens in the upcoming chapters will be different from the show.
