“Wait? Matt, Lexi?” Tori asked confused, “You knew about this?” she asked.

Matt nodded ashamed, “Yeah, our parents are on the board” Lexi said answering for Matt.

“Huh?” Aaron asked, “I haven’t seen you there, or these people” he said pointing to Petra and Slade.

While they explained what was going on, Ryan tuned them out and listened to Aaron’s heart beat as he was in Aaron’s lap and hadn’t moved, he didn’t care that Matt and Lexi didn’t tell them about this because he does the same thing, so he wasn’t going to be hypocritical and start accusing them like Tori is doing right now, he closed his eyes and listened.

At first it was just how Matt and Lexi discovered their special abilities, Matt has lighting ruins and Lexi has Tech ruins, meaning that Matt can fire out shocks of lighting from his hands and run super fast.

Lexi's Ruins are turning into a giant robot and can hack into any computer system she wants to.

Ryan thought their Ruin, as Matt called them, were rather cool and interesting.

 Then Matt talked about how he was raised in this place, but then the yelling started, Slade was telling them to be quiet, but Tori and Matt kept going at it, it was loud so loud, flashbacks of the Damon family rushed in his mind of his two “Parents” shouting and screaming at him.

He felt the rims of his eyes swell up with tears, he felt so weak and vulnerable right now, They shouted at him to do better, to BE better, his thoughts were interrupted by the sound of whimpering.

Ryan opened his eyes as the water flowed down from his multi-colored eyes, he looked at Aaron who was worse than what he was, Ryan’s eyes widened as he realized what was happening.

“Guys shut up!” Ryan started but they couldn’t hear him over their own voices, Ryan growled, “I. Said. SHUT THE FUCK UP!” he screamed.

The place silenced, they stopped immediately looking over to Ryan who held Aaron’s head to his chest rubbing his head gently, blocking his ears and his eyes.

“W-”

“SHHH” Ryan cut Slade off.

Tori and Matt looked down in shame, they knew they were the cause of this.

After a few more minutes of dead silence, Aaron had calmed down but stayed rather quiet. Ryan had moved on the couch and laid Aaron on top of him, Ryan leaning on the side of the couch with Aaron against his chest.

“I think we’re good now,” Ryan whispered.

“What just happened?” Slade asked.

“Sensory overload” Ryan replied, “It’s when something triggers him into activating all of his senses at once, and it can be overwhelming and uncontrollable, the yelling triggered his ears, making his instincts trigger his other senses” he explained.

“We’re sorry” Matt said, “I can see this affected you also” he said, noticing Ryan’s tears.

“Yeah… but for different reasons” Ryan replied, “I don’t want to get into it right now, all i want is to go to bed and sleep” he said, ‘It’s been an exhausting day’ he thought.

“Okay but first listen to my story about your father,” Petra said.

Ryan rolled his eyes, “Still don’t want to know about him, but go ahead” he nodded.

“Well, your Father’s name is Lucifer Morningstar, and he was a code Red, now he was truly something, he was known as a player for all sex and disires but boy was he hot-oooh” Petra saw the disgust on the childrens faces.
