🐸Next Morning🐸
You: (roll over)
Prod: (gone)
You: (get up and go to the bathroom)
☕moments later☕️
You: (walk out the bathroom)
Prod: hey.
You: (jump) Craig!
Prod: (laughing) I'm sorry. I went to get breakfast.
You: (calming down) I thought you left. You scared me.
Prod: I'm sorry.
You: (walk over to your bed) I have work in a few. But I'm not feeling good.
Prod: what's going on? You okay?
You: (nod)
-your phone starts ringing-
You: I got to take this.(walk out the room)
-Later-
Prod: no it's nothing like that.(laughs)
Ray: (opens the car door) hey! You never know. Just be prepared when she drops that bomb on you.
Prod: (gets quiet) she was jumpy. This morning.
Ray: (looks at him)
Prod: I'm just trying to help her.
Ray: (nods)
📅Home📅
You: (open the door for April) thank you so much..(pull her end and lock the door back)
April: what are you doing?
You: Last night Roc wanted me to come by so I set him up with the police.
April: that's good.
You: (shaking your head) they caught nate and a couple of other guys but Roc got away.
April: (looking at you)😳
You: that's it April, he's going to come back for me. I'm dead, I don't know what to do.
April: first of all calm down, you know it's important that you stay calm.
You: (looking at her with tears in your eyes)
April: as long as Craig is here he won't do anything.
You: he doesn't even like Craig. He'll kill an off duty cop the first chance he gets.
April: does Craig know?
You: I don't want to tell him. He'll go looking for him. That's why I called Ray.
April: (breathes out)
**Someone knocks on your door**
You: (look at the door)
April: I'll get it.
You: (look at her)
April: (looks out the window)
You: (biting your fingernail)
April: it's EJ.😕
You: EJ?(walk over to the door and open it)
Ej; y/n we need to talk.
You: why?
Ej: about our son.
You: come in.
Ej: (looks at April)
You: April..
April: call me if you need me..(walks upstairs)
You: (sit down)
Ej: um..(sits on the arm of your couch)
You: EJ just end this. You don't understand what you're making me go trough.
Ej: end this. Then what? You continue to smoke, sell, putting our son in danger. Y/n I'm not doing this to hurt you, or to take Costa away from you. I'm doing this so you can wake up. Look you may not know this but when I first met you. I was IN LOVE with you.
You: (look down at your hands)
Ej: Before I met you it never crossed my mind one about having a kid. I mean that's how it goes right? Man loves you, man gives you child?
You: (not looking at him)
Ej: when I met you, I knew what had happened to you. So it was kind of difficult for me to try and pick up the pieces.. I told you I loved you, but it didn't make a difference because the other men told you that too huh? (Looks at you)
You: (look at him)
Ej: but I was talking about a different love...but any way, shortly after you had Costa, you begin to disappear. I guess from the stress of being a new mother, or the hate your mom gave you. You begin to disappear. Go off with that drug dealer late at night. So that night when You went home..I left. I changed my number and I left I was tired. I was tired of seeing you go downhill and turn into this completely different woman.
You: so you left me at that place.
Ej: I came back.
You: and left again,
EJ: because you got back on.
You: I thought you were here to talk about Costa.
Ej: I was talking to him last night..and that boy really loves you. He talks about you all day all night.
You: I am his mother.
Ej: It made me realize that. And realize why you were his mom and I was his dad. Because I loved you and I still do. No matter what happens y/n.
You: (look at him and stand up) is that it EJ?
Ej: (stands up and goes in his pocket to give you money)
You: what's this?
Ej: back pay.
You; why? I never had you on child support or anything.
Ej: for that year I left you alone. And for all the times I made you feel alone raising Costa.
You: (looking at him)
Ej: (kisses you)
You: 😳(break the kiss) EJ I told you I don't want your money.
EJ: (walks out the house)
You: (sit on the couch) April!
Your POV: wow.
