You: (sitting at the table)

Costa: (walks in the kitchen)

You: (look at him) you're awake.

Costa: (nods walking to you)

You: (pick him up)

Costa: am I going to school tomorrow?

You: not tomorrow. But you get to come to work with mommy again.

Costa: (looks at you)

You: (smile a little)

Costa: Taylor said she works at home. Can I go over there tomorrow and ride my car.

You: um..I'll call your dad and see.

Costa: yay!(jumps down)

You: (looking at him)

Costa: (runs to the room)

You: (cooking)

Jane: what a slow day huh?

You: Yeah. Good thing Costa didn't come, he would've been so bored.

Jane: where is he again?

You: over his dad's.

Jane: I bet he's having fun.

You: (smile a little)

Your POV: I bet

-7 minutes later-

-someone comes in-

You: (look over the counter)

It's prod and Ray.

Your POV: I wonder of he remember me..

Jane: you got that?

You: Sharon?

Sharon: I'm cooking.

Your POV: okay.😩

You: (walk out to the front)

-front-

You: (walk up to them) hey..what are y'all having today?

Prod: (looking at you)

You: (look at Ray) anything?

Ray: I'll get just a coffe.

You: (look at prod) and you?

Prod: uh..yeah coffee.

You: (walk away)

Ray: (looks at Prod) you alright?

You: (take off your apron and walk out back)

Prod: yeah. I forgot my phone in the car. I'll be back.(gets up and walk out the door)

You: Whatever EJ, she said he could stay and he's there...oh really? Well do it! (Hang up the phone) ugh!! (Turn around)

Prod: (standing behind you)

You: I can't help you I'm on break..Sorry

Prod: I don't need your assistance...I just a came around to say hi.(walks up)

You: hi. (Move away a little)

Prod: (looks at you for a while then follow you) do you remember me?

You: (look at him) I don't know all cops kinda look the same to me..(laughs)

Prod: (laughs) yesterday the drug bust.
