Chapter 4- Familiar face

Misty's POV

I'm currently in my cab and on the way to my air bnb which is a codominium I booked for 3 days. I just hope I can find a place which fits my budget in the next three days.

I arrived in front of a very tall building and my cab driver unloaded my things. I paid and bid him farewell.

I went inside and signed some papers in the front desk and then they gave me my key and so I went straight to the elevator.

I was so embarrassed I had to take up the whole space of the elevator because of my things so I decided to be the last one and let everyone board the elevator so that I can't inconvenient other people who's actually living in the codominium.

It's finally my turn to use the elevator, my things are not that heavy it's just that there's 4 different bags aside from my black luggage.

"Bakit kasi ganito ko inampake mga gamit ko" sabi ko while boarding the elevator.

I pressed my floor number and when the elevator door was closing, I saw a familiar face. Bale may dalawang elevator na magkaharap at may nakita akong matangkad na lalaki na naka polo shirt na black and khaki shorts with some white sneakers. He looked somewhat familiar sa akin. Hindi ko lang masyadong nakita ng maayos kasi pasirado na yung elevator door.

I arrived in my temporary place. Clean and decent place actually. It's a studio type of condominium, it's perfect for one. I actually love the place already. Grabe napakalinis tapos overlooking sa city tapos naka aircon. Kahit maliit lang yung place parang gustong gusto ko nang tumira dito.

I jumped on the bed at nagpahinga hanggang sa nag ring ang phone ko.

"Hello?"

"Mist, hello."

"Oh bakit? Kakarating ko lang pala sa condo"

"Mabuti naman"

"Magkikita na ba tayo? 3pm na ba?" Tanong ko kasi may plano kaming magkikita tatlo.

Nandito kasi si Deedee sa Manila kasi sabi niya may inasikaso siya sa papers niya for promotion.

"Hindi pa naman. About that. I'm so sorry but can we push it to 4:30pm? I have to..."

She was silent for a while. Might be the reception.

"Hello Deedee?"

"Oh yes. Medyo na tagalan kasi ako dito sa main office namin eh. May....kakausap pa daw sa akin."

" Ah sige. Walang problema sa akin. Inform ko na lamg si Yura."

"Sige Mist. Tinatawag na ata ako eh. See you later"

"Byeee Deedee"

The phone call ended. I dialed Yura's number.

"Hello,Yura?"

"Yes hello!"

"Kakarating ko lang dito sa condo"

"That's good. Pahinga ka muna diyan. Nasa office pa ako eh. May meeting kami maya maya for my next project."

"Wow! That's good! Pero anyway, I called to inform you na move daw ng 4:30pm friendship date natin with Deedee kasi mukhang matagalan siya sa main office nila"

"That actually works for me. Kasi mukhang matatagalan ako dito."

"Okay. See you later then."

"Bye Mist. Rest ka muna diyan"

The phone call ended.
